Doesn't show up as an option in Canada with FDRS for my lightning or mach-e -- let me know if you want me to check your VIN.

Thank you, but my 2021 got it through EAP about a month ago or so.

Also, be careful running VINs in FDRS; especially in other markets. They will ban your account and if you are using the same email as your Ford account and app, it will kill that, too.

I think it’s because you have a 2024. Many of these seem to roll out to 22/23s first. That’s my personal experience.

Strange, the update installed today and appears to be functional as I have the new phone icon on the top row, but I don't have the symptoms in this SSM. Instead, if I look at the update screen, it says it did not install successfully.

Yea, the issue shows up differently for some people. The good thing is the update installed.

I don't mean to detract from the intent of this post, but since we're talking about icons on the top of the screen, is there anyway to get rid of that damn Alexa icon? I have looked at all of the settings and can't find anything that turns it off.

Yes. IIRC, it was under the "Amazon Alexa" settings. If you disable it, the icon goes away. Unless this new version changed that and removed the option to remove it.

Hi all,


Earlier I enabled the enhanced charging screen via Forscan on my ’22:

Screen appeared but functions didn’t work. Left it alone since charge-at-location still worked.


After yesterday’s APIM update, charge-at-location settings stopped saving and defaulted to 100%. Deleting/re-adding the location didn’t help.


Rolled back the Forscan enhanced charge change and it fixed everything.


Side note: Software update screen still shows “Not Completed,” but the APIM OTA did install.
