No one should use public DC chargers for a long term solution to commute. That should be for travel. I pay less than $0.09/mile average over the 70k miles I've put on my truck. I use solar at home and most of my charging is done at home at less than $0.13/kWh.
Sigenergy is less than $10k in parts and has V2G. So there are options through the DC port that is better than anything Ford or any other OEM offers even Tesla. I bought with the NACS cord and works with my Tesla and Lightning with adapter.
You say that but my Ford dealer basically bricked my 5mo old lightning by not having a charger on it during a CSP which updated all the modules. They had it for 35 days trying to repair, replaced front motor inverter and coolant pump twice. The issue was that the coolant pump ran at 100% as soon...
I just rolled 48k since 11/23. Only had to replace 2 rear tires due to running with a loaded bed 100% of the time as an electrician. Lifetime is 1.7kWh/mi.... mostly highways at 65-70mph.
That's actually where I keep it right now. I went ahead and ordered the ford tray part since it was $25. I'm thinking about just printing a part that fits in there so the shifter can go in front and will hold a 40oz water bottle or whatever in the back.
Sorry, was a long day yesterday. Duh
Need to look into this more as I want my explorer rotary where my trailer controller is as well (pull trailers all the time but never use the brakes as I find the regen is plenty). I want at least 1 more cup holder since I usually have a water cup and an...
Anyone having any updates on the air ride systems? Better efficiency? I have a camber issue as I run with the bed loaded 99% of the time. I'm thinking I should get air struts so that I can keep it where I want it, then get it aligned at that height.
I can also confirm that the FCSP can connect to the DC pins on the CCS plug of the Lightning. I was able to power up the backup circuit and the truck sat there waiting on the Bluetooth signal from the delta system comms in order to close the contacts and energize. I'm assuming that once the V2x...
