  1. Guide: FORscan on Apple Silicon Macbook/Air

I know what I’m working on Sunday. Many, many, many thanks for such a clear & detailed guide @Storx
  2. $0.20/kWh Charging this Weekend + IONNA Birthday Meetups šŸŽ‚

Amateurs. Thanks to Puget Sound Energy, it’s 20Ā¢/kWh at my house ALL THE TIME.
  3. Ford App 6.6.0 iOS & Android

Don’t believe so. I’m glad that they expire the security certificate and have to renew it. It’s a pain, but in an increasingly connected world and with some of the stories you hear about Stellantis’ issues with exposed endpoints IN THE CAR ITSELF, this is a prudent security measure. Annoying...
  4. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

Thanks for the post Sal, and kudos to the comms/community team. It’s at least not making us feel like a complete red-headed step-child when ya’ll reach out like this.
  5. 2000hp Lightning SuperTruck driven by The Stig on Top Gear Test Track

I just want to be able to buy a Lightning Raptor that uses some of the architecture on a road legal chassis with a couple of stages 580 hp - regular mode 750ish - enhanced mode 900ish - GT mode ~1200 - track/race mode
  6. Introducing Ford AI Assistant

Sounds like the first task for Ford AI is to help follow-up with questions, instead of calculating my bags of mulch. But really, it’s a great use case that’ll help accumulate trust in what is inherently an mistrusted resource.
  7. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ā›”ļø ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

Well, you didn’t stoop to Trump for…[checks notes]…11 months. Lasted way longer than Target and others, so that’s something. Now to watch Marques Brownlee for what my next leading EV is gonna look like, since ford has lost the plot and is committing to delivering faster horses.
  8. Tonneau Cover Range Improvement numbers

My Lightning has had a cover on it since day 1, so I can’t speak to its difference. On my 12th gen, the tonneau made a 0.18 mpg difference which could easily be had by driving 3-5 mph slower or accelerating slower or a tailwind or any number of things. The one very noticeable difference was...
  9. Price per KW to charge at homešŸ

Puget Sound is 18.1Ā¢/ KwH, all-in. I’ve got solar, but I built my system before the Lightning was announced, so it’s time for a capacity upgrade. Now to convince the municipality that I can do all the work myself….
  10. Battery Replacement Module Survey ??

I use AAA and pay the extra for the "up to 200-mile" tow. If I'm at the ocean and something happens, there ain't no one within a hundred miles that I'll trust.
  11. SUCCESS: Battery Pack MODULE Replacement: '22 Pro SR @ 62,000 miles

My apologies and I will update my Original post, but my memory was wrong. When I reviewed the paperwork, it was actually modules 8 & 9 that were replaced NOT 6 & 7. Wanting to ensure the spreadsheet has the most accurate numbers. Thank you for the work in keeping up with this.
  12. SUCCESS: Battery Pack MODULE Replacement: '22 Pro SR @ 62,000 miles

Almost zero towing and the bed is used for mulch, gravel, camping equipment, and e-bikes. Mine is a dog transporter for most of the time.
  13. SUCCESS: Battery Pack MODULE Replacement: '22 Pro SR @ 62,000 miles

Just got my ā€˜22 ER back after a month at the dealer - 2 weeks for the BECM to arrive and install to find 2 battery modules and a HV junction box were toast downstream & then 2 more weeks for the parts to arrive. curious which modules were replaced - I had 6&7 (not a joke Gen Aplha) so curious...
  14. 20% tint too dark?

Another benefit that I don’t see mentioned much is the glare off a wet road is almost nonexistent. For my fellow drivers with astigmatism, those headlight halos are at least half size now with just a 70% ceramic tint. Be sure to use ceramic for this one, regular film won’t do much for this.
