Thanks. Other than the software update release notes, is there any other indicator that you have BC 1.4 installed? I think I already have all of these features...
For owners of 2022 F150 Lightnings, what your last OTA that successfully installed and when?
My 2022 Lariat ER has not received an OTA in over 6 months and I'm curious why. It's enrolled in EAP, so I've contacted them as well, but I'm just surprised to see nothing hit the vehicle in such a...
I *believe* I am on BC 1.3 (not sure how to confirm if my vehicle received anything newer since I last did FDRS updates in Aug 2024) and noticed today that when I change lanes in my 22 Lariat, it no longer shows the visual of the Lange change on the driver screen. The lane changes without...
Lesson learned. Do NOT mention the NASTF login requirement when asking your Ford dealership to install this BCM update as that's likely to confuse the SAs/Techs and waste time.
To recap for those late to the party:
1. Verify the BCM update is available for your vehicle through FDRS.
2. When...
Well...after two weeks of phone tag with the Service Team at Serra Ford, I was told today their Ford FSE's have instructed them NOT to install the BCM on my vehicle because it's "not supported." So, since their FSE advised against this, they are unwilling to install this update for me...
Question is in the title - Has anyone successfully had a Ford Dealer install Walk Away Lock (WAL) by installing the BCM update in FDRS that requires the NASTF username/password?
If so, how did you get them to install it? Was there a cost? If so, how much?
It's amazing to me how little the...
I can't say for the dealer, but if you're willing to DIY, there's a fix via FDRS for the small camera in this post and the following response via Forscan. I ran into this issue after some FDRS updates last month and that solution worked...I did not test the Forscan update to fix this...
I just got the UI update OTA. Are you saying Walk Away Lock should work? Or is this only if you did the BCM update via FDRS (and have the magic username/password required)?
That's exciting! Just to confirm, this is the APIM update and it's effectively a UI update only?
As soon as we confirm there's a way to get around the credentials for installing Walk Away Lock (BCM), I'll gladly get another 48-hour license to install these items.
I purchased the one linked in this post for the IPMA update and I’m glad I did. In the nearly 3 hours it took, it was regularly pulling more than 60A.
