I have noticed that if i have a scheduled charge time entered, and try to do a one time charge with the app, it will always go to 100%. Any attempt to change the charge limit will stop the charge.

I have solar panels and would prefer to charge only during the day. Scheduling the charge times breaks one time charging and always has. I now charge manually all the time.

They did fix one thing with scheduled charging. Early on, if I had the scheduled time set up, and plugged it in the night before it wouldn't charge. I had to plug it in, in the morning, in order for the scheduled charge to work. Which basically means scheduled times was useless.

It will now follow the scheduled time regardless of when I plugged it in. Yea!?!

The one time charging is still broke when scheduled time are used.

I have explained the sequence, to make one time charging fail, explicitly to the ford pass app people numerous times.

I don’t know if this is related but when I set it to charge at anytime it will fully charge but I get a default red ring of death at the end. If I manually connect it, it will work fine. Anyone know if there is a fix?

About the time this thread and the update started I had the battery warning and had it in the dealership for a week while they said they were talking to Ford engineers. Turned out they replaced the 12v and won’t give me the report for what they searched. Brought it home and have not been able to set charge location and limit from app. Can set in truck but it immediately charges to 100. I have to unplug to stop. Has there been a fix for this ?

I’ll try to set again tomorrow.

Cant even enter the charge limit in the app while its charging. Just goes to 100% unless you manually stop it. As far as locations charged at my usual location (work) and won't let me add it as a target charge location. Does show any.

Very frustrating update as I don't want the truck charging to 100%
Exactly what I am experiencing, very frustrating.

I’ve been waiting for a return call from Ford for a week. Tried deleting app and reinstalling. Screen in truck says it is set to times and charge limit but it starts charging as soon as it is plugged in.

After today's update 25.8.5 28.8.5 the option to set a charging limit has disappeared including my Ac charging location
Never received either of the promised calla from Ford. Called again and went through 4 people to get my charge location , times and limits set. First two reps only took the same information including vin. Then connected to sync screen help. Had to reset (push forward and volume at same time) . I then plugged it in and then reset location, time and charge limit. Seemed to work. Had to be put through to someone else to correct the Ford app on my phone. Didn’t take too long to show charge info and set up.

Ford reps do not return calls as they say. Could not understand why the fix could not be done on my first call 10 days earlier. You have to speak to different departments for the charge location, times and limits on the truck screen and Ford app.
