Are there 2 lightning owners on this forum that live near each other and want to do a test? Drive same route at same time. One truck with tonneau, one without. Swap tonneau to other truck and repeat.
Only reason I looked at the Sol Ark is a local PV installer sells them. They are quite expensive and I haven't decided to get one yet. I will definitely research the SolarEdge too.
I contacted Sol-Ark about doing this same thing with their 12K model. Their response: "Our generator input accepts any stand alone 240V split phase power source (2 hots legs). The fact that the neutral is bonded in the circuit at the truck is ok. So, based on this it sounds like the proposed...
I think the color coding of romex started a little over 20 years ago. If his wiring is older then that it could be something heavier than 14 gauge but still not heavy enough for the Charge Station Pro.
You'd also have to include the cost of the charge in the calculation. If time = money then money = time. I admit this is more an issue with an ICE vehicle. Somewhere on this world wide web is an equation where you enter mpg of vehicle, cost of gas and how much you make an hour. I seem to...
The dealer I (somewhat randomly) chose said there was no way they could tell me where I was on their list. I of course do not believe them. I started checking out other dealers in the area and they wouldn't even tell me how many reservations they have. It's like they have no interest in selling...
This! No matter what you drive waste is waste. My parents grew up in the depression and ingrained in me and my siblings to not be wasteful (like not wasting food, turn the lights off...) way before the conservation movement. It's not hard to do.
I think that was disputed many years ago. The issue was the nickel used in the batteries. What was ignored was that other cars use a lot of nickel (chrome and stainless use nickel) plus the Prius batteries were/are recyclable. There was also a nickel mine in Canada that polluted a lot but Prius...
They didn't need to remove the rear seat to get individuals not to buy it. They could have said it was for fleet only (like the PRO extended range version) from the beginning. They didn't do that and that's why we're having this discussion. What's your opinion on why they didn't say that from...
Do you own a lot of Ford stock and are trying to maximize your investment?
The PRO is plenty truck for me. It's not about the cost (I can easily afford a Platinum) but why buy stuff you don't want. Heck I don't even use AC unless my dog looks hot.
Not where I live. Semi's go 5 mph under. Then the majority go the limit or 5 over. Then about 20% drive like they didn't use the bathroom before they left. Sorry for taking this even more off topic.
I guess I was thinking more about tire pressure. Hyper-milers like to increase tire pressure to the max which decreases rolling resistance but gives a harsher ride. Also the low rolling resistance tires we have gotten for our Prius's are not known for their comfortable ride.
