no real reason tbh. Both tires Ford chose are decent - I think the 20" all seasons are General Grabber HTS and the all terrains are Hankook Dynapro AT2s. I travel down a gravel road quite a bit and highway tires get eaten up, hoping the all terrains last a bit longer with that usage
It's the same issue Tesla Model X door handles have, they'll never line up perfectly and I wouldn't be surprised if production trucks have the same issue.
