On Monday my dealership said that they submitted in December when I bought the truck but it did not go thru and they took screen shots and are meeting with the IRS to get it resolved...
I've requested copies of the screen shots...it's been 24 hours and still don't have copies.
Why are they...
@Henry Ford and @Maquis ...
Can you guys get on the same page about breakers on or off and GFCI in truck tripping?. I mean I thought I learned something on the 3rd... But then unlearned it tonight. Did you just forget Maquis?
This is said in jest...not to be a dick.
Sweet. Thanks. Wish it would show the date so we could prove that your dealership turned it in late and it still worked... but can't control the IRS... Glad for your outcome.
My dealership seemed like they said it would not work to turn it in now... But I don't know if they tried or are...
From the images on Amazon it does appear that the switch switches the neutral. So it should be switching over to the neutral from the truck and if the ground from the truck were landed on the ground bar in the ATS box all should be fine as long as neutral and ground don't meet in the sub panel...
Thanks. Just looked thru and used search function on the touch screen...nothing mentioned (also dislike using screens for that amount of info).
Time to download the PDF and see what else I'm missing.
Thanks for posting.
I'll push my dealer harder to try submitting to see if it works. But maybe they did it correctly and only provided the copy in January.
Really adding 10psi does not change range/efficiency? I noticed the difference on my ICE vehicles... Maybe it's the brick like aero of a truck vs. mid size that makes the tires not as critical.
Are you normally running 70mph? My thinking is tire pressure might matter more if most miles are...
Yeah. Preconditioning battery is good for increased range should you use that range before the heat disappears.
I want to learn ways to increase efficiency just because I want to not because I need it (except on long trips).
Yes lower speed = better.
Using heated seats and steering wheel...
Yeah I messed with lots of settings and have most things very open. Still no battery related info, either current percent or projected for a destination set.
I'll give it a bit as one of the other posts suggests.
I get 1.5 in 20F weather with the temp set to 67 auto 2. Driving 17 miles at 55mph with 7 stop signs. Does not matter if I precondition and climate control to hot or don't do anything. All the surface area of the cabin and battery are probably drawing off a lot of heat at 55mph.
If it's 40F...
Now that it's Thursday ...my dealership is waiting to hear back from the IRS...the salesperson says the dealership group CFO is working on it.
Not holding my breath...but hoping the dealership steps up.
Some on reddit say if the dealership lists the in-service date as 2024 then it should work...
Ok only had the truck 2 months/4000 miles. Did not know why it was not working but since the update history on ford.com was blank did not have a way of telling what software I had.
According to Google play store I'm up to date. Will have to experiment more. I'll find a couple YouTube...
Was 10.1.1 supposed to allow Android Auto to see battery level and display it while navigating\precondition if headed to a charger?
I just got this today but don't see battery level on Android Auto on the screen (Google maps)
Getting into the IRS was pretty easy. Sadly there is no record of a clean vehicle purchase for me for 2024. I had no options on the Lariat so was all good price wise.
Will see what Monday brings.:wait:
I also got a Valentine from Ford. Odd (but not that odd) update time is set to 1AM but driving for the 4th time today at 610pm and it flashed up on the sync screen it updated
