For the members that switched to the Defenders, does it seem that they wear better than the Hankooks? I have about 28k miles on the Hankooks and they are worn on the edges just like everyone is saying. I think that I'm going to score a set of the Defenders this fall, right before snow season...

Yes. Their EasyStart FLEX should do it. Just from reading about 50 or so testimonials before I bought it, almost all of the user's comments are the same... it dramatically reduces startup inrush amperage draw enough that they can use midsized and even smaller generators. I'm willing to bet...

That's most unfortunate. Did you use their latest product; EasyStart FLEX? That unit is supposed to handle up to 6 ton AC units. My AC unit is old also... 19 years old! It's only a 3 ton, but that EasyStart FLEX should be all that you need, according to them. :unsure:

I just installed the Micro-Air Flex SoftStart unit onto my AC compressor and it works like a charm! It took about 30 minutes, and 25 minutes was finding a place to put the unit and securing it. Thanks. $400 well spent. :clap:
