The Lightning's cost won't be a problem in Norway where EVs are tax advantaged but in Europe vehicles are significantly more expensive than the US. I'm guessing the equivalent of $90k for a Pro. I really doubt they will make inroads at that price despite the significant petrol savings.
SR owners have it a bit easier for mental math. 98 kWh useable is close enough to 1 kWh per 1% so 2.0 mi/kWh efficiency means a half charge will take you 100 miles; at 2.5 driving for highway efficiency that's a good 250 miles of highway range at 100%
On my first EV in 2015 there was a way to...
When enabled, it seems to engage the parking brake automatically when put into park, whether shifting from reverse to park or drive to park.
Edit: is there a way to make it remember the setting? It reset on the next drive cycle
As you know, the high voltage components have an eight year warranty already:

My dealer just got 10 lightnings this morning and my tracker "last updated" updated today, 3/31, for the first time since 2/7.
Fingers crossed I'm picking up a Lightning today. Best of luck, everyone!
Edit: the truck is there and I'm taking delivery today!
Edit 2: now showing complete a few...
The dates are such obvious BS in this scenario. My truck has been at the final step before delivery to the dealer since 2/7, at which point it showed ETA 2/10-2/16. Ford should just pause the estimated dates for trucks that are being held to stop teasing us.
I'm assuming our trucks will need a...
Mine is also showing 3/10-3/16 and this is the closest I've been to the end of the ETA window. I'm curious when my next delay will show since it had been happening on Monday evenings the past couple of weeks.
Edit: Just updated to 04/11/2023 - 04/24/2023 on the shop.ford tracker
The mudflaps/splash guards have an outsized impact on some other EVs' range so you're right to question this but the lion's share of the low-hanging fruit for efficiency are slowing down (aero) and not running the cabin heat since it's a resistance heater/PTC. Since you already mentioned those...
What's your "last updated" date below the estimated delivery? Mine hasn't updated in the month since it was offloaded from the railcar on 2/7. That's all I'm interested in because the other dates seem to push out automatically on the same day each week.
The rep mentioned that all of the recently built trucks are being held and that my current 3/3-3/9 ETA isn't happening. I will be bugged if we miss out on the $7500 tax credit but sometimes "stuff" happens. Ford isn't enjoying this, either.
No email yet here. I'm holding onto a shred of hope that it means my VIN is not affected and will be able to come home soon
Edit: called Ford marketing at 800-334-4375 and my truck is definitely affected.
Mine updated Monday to 3/3-3/9 delivery & 2/28-3/13. Seeing as yours updated the next day, I think the dates just auto refresh each week on whatever day your original ETA started and aren't particularly meaningful given the stop ship situation.
