On a whim I decided to cut some vinyl to fill in my tailgate lettering. Black was the only color I had enough of, but I plan on doing it in blue to match the accent colors of the lightning badging. Any other colors you’d recommend for a white truck?
Beats paying $50.
Added the switch. Bought it off eBay, from China, plugged it in, changed the value in forscan and it works great! Previously it was locked in at the 3rd distance and and now there’s 4 different distances to choose from. This whole mod of adding the ACC and everything with it has been awesome...
The CCM plug does not fit through the bracket slot. I mean I guess it would if you yanked hard enough but that would be bad. Adding an inline connector would be great.
I don’t think adding the 360 cameras is an aftermarket option I think it requires a ton of extra work. Your best bet is to go from the IPMA connector on the drivers side to the cruise control module. There’s no reason to do it any other way.
So I installed ACC on my 23 pro and after driving about 150 miles on the highway, I got off and took surface streets. After a fair amount of stop and go in traffic using the ACC the truck started shuttering pretty hard when it would come to a stop or start rolling (sub 6mph). Pretty aggressive...
For me it was overload. I used to use it on my 15a garage outlet and it would blow all the time. But I was always welding 1/8 on it which is on the upper end of that welder.
You need to look at the amp draw of the welder. I was using my titanium flux core welder yesterday (small green lunch box one). I was testing it to make sure it still worked for my cousin to use. It kept tripping the gfci, so I checked the amp draw and it’s 24 amps. On a 20 amp plug. So I had to...
I used crimp connectors (non insulated 20g butt connectors) with waterproof heat shrink. I just crimped them, gave them a tug, then hit the shrink tube with my torch until it was tight and the shmoo oozed out. You can buy waterproof insulated crimp connectors also or even ones with solder in...

Great… idk if I want updates that mess with things lol. But I’m blown away that this is like a poor man’s auto pilot. It literally does all the turning through curves and everything. It’s so bizarre.
It was a fun project! Everything in the forscan change list was on point. Except you have to turn on the CCM in the IPMA section before you can copypasta the IPMA into into the CCM. But before activating the CCM in the IPMA section, take a picture of that section before you make changes so you...
All the parts are listed in the initial page. With one exception. The wiring harness. You need to make your own to run from the CCM to the IPMA connector. Check if you have the wires or not by popping off the side piece of your dash. I probably have like $700ish into this build. It’s a very in...
It works! 2023 Pro ER with Max Tow. Ran wires directly from the IPMA to the CCM. Also, a water bottle wedged in the steering wheel will work instead of a hand on the wheel for any curious minds.
Yep! I assume i just had to clear the DTCs. I’ll mess with it tomorrow when I run to town. I calibrated it twice, first time 0 cars in front of me for like 15 miles. Decided to follow a car out of town at like 65-70mph and recalibrate it again. It went through both times, but worst case scenario...
