Interesting... Maybe the VIN has an 'S' which is easy to mistake for a '5'
Its hard to believe this would have any impact on a trailer brake controller.
My lightning was the victim of rodent damage twice. Second time was the day after I got it back from the first repair so I can say that it happens fast.
That picture doesn't look like rodents to me either and I dont see how they could charge a thousand dollars to fix it.
Comprehensive...
It is not required. I find that I rarely use it as well. The only real value I get from it is the ability to start conditioning the cabin remotely (aka remote start).
I found that driving slower makes a bigger difference in cold weather. It is hard [for me] to do but 65 is much more efficient than 75 so I try to avoid the Interstate highways when range matter.
Level 1 charging would bring me back to 90% overnight most of the time for me. Not really thinking about it (and being a subscriber to bigger is better) I installed an Emporia level 2 before I brought the truck home. I have since updated that to only charge at 32 amps since it still completes...
I have had good experiences with AutoNation in White Bear. They recently changed to Apple Auto and I haven't been there after the switch yet but I am hoping its just as good or better.

I think the Lightning is under F-150 with all the ICE models.
I was concerned about that at first but I'm not certain how accurate the diagrams are. From the pictures of the of demo vehicles it appears that the mirrors extend past the body like they do on the Lightning which is 96" including mirrors.
Its all hypothetical at this point. Looking...
Well I wasn't going to make a reservation but I just did. Better to have one and not use it...
If the interior space is close to the Lightning and the price stays under $60k I might just make the switch.
Anyway, it will be a very long time before anyone gets to place a real order for one.
Need to sit in one to see how I fit but what we know looks good. The optional gas generator is a nice touch for extending range. Hoping there are good options for some "attachments". My uncle used to plow snow with his old scout and I would love to do the same.
So glad to see that it is body...
What is your source for this? I can't imagine Ford would go through the trouble but could see a dealer setting their own code for each car they receive but that could be reset by the new owner.
