I just received this email too. I love how it reminds us to turn on the automatic software updates, but they aren't sending any of them to me.

So let me make sure I understand.... Those people that are continuously getting updates are now getting an update that will help them get more updates? But those of us that aren't getting updates, continue to fall farther and farther behind. Makes alot of sense, @Ford Motor Company.

Does this mean that I can take my truck to the dealer and get them to do software updates for me? (My last update was almost a year ago)

How do you get that integration? I don’t have that option.

I truly don’t understand what the improvement is with this version. So many features have been removed . Yet the only thing added was climate controls (and btw, some of us with heated steering wheels can’t control it from the new app. The button doesn’t exist) So overall, this is a HUGE downgrade.

It’s not there for all of us. I have all of the other climate controls (including seats), but the heated steering wheel button is not there.

My first impressions of things that are missing that I use all the time... Trip Planning - I used this often. Any time I went somewhere new, I would use this feature to plan the tip and send directions to the truck. Climate Controls - I don't have the ability to turn on/off the heated steering...

I have the same issue. I don't have the button for the steering wheel in the new app. But I have it in the truck.

I can't find it. That's the first thing I searched for. I use that all the time.

Today marks exactly 300 days since my last OTA update. I've pretty much given up at this point and just assume that I'll have to be happy with the software I have. I don't expect any of the new and improved stuff that everyone else is getting. And to make it even more entertaining, I'm a member...
