On a long drive my front sensor got blocked so I couldnt use the adaptive cruise control. What I cant seem to figure out is how to revert to standard cruise control so that I can keep using it. Is this even possible?

On my 23 it's actually two pieces. This snaps onto a ring that feels like it's permanently mounted. Does yours have anything there? Do you plan on securing it with double sided tape?
