My long-term 2025 XC90 service loaner has the 360 camera. It’s very nice. The EX90 camera/radar system is very cool in that it also tells you the distance from a wall as you are pulling into a parking spot. Hopefully, Ford will pick up on that.
Visited it in the hospital where the truck is recovering from surgery to its “face.” It is healing well after being innocently grazed by a fire truck.
The building department in my county looks at the total load and will not allow circuits to overload the panel. For the sake of safety, they assume that everything is running.
Mine was 378 miles on the first charge after the major software update that erased my prior settings without me realizing it. As a result, I unintentionally charged the truck to 100%.
Would be nice if there was a UL listed adapter that allowed the use of a FCSP with a PHEV. As a result, I am looking at a Volvo XC90 B5 or B6 if the replacement Volvo EX90 does not work out.
Interesting that the BEV team gave you that relief. I received nothing when my original charger was broken out of the box or for the last month that it was in the shop for the IPMA issue when they tried to do my front park sensor CSP.
Yes, it needs to go back to the dealer. I just got my truck back after a week since the fix did not go smoothly for a tech who specializes in the PHEV and BEV vehicles. It is now working as designed in my truck.
At least you are ok and did not get hit by a ladder truck (that big thing with the huge ladder on top) like I did while legally parked in a fire station parking lot.
Given what @Fyatrk said, I wonder how much hidden damage there is. Perhaps @Fyatrk can elaborate.
I should have been more clear that I am down the road from you but happy to meet up with a fellow owner for lunch or dinner. I have not tried to do any programming on my vehicles due to issues with modules having gotten “bricked“ over the years at the dealerships - whether it be Volvo, Subaru...
