  1. Charge Fault

Ford Pro charger at 48 amps. I haven't checked the breaker. I'll check that.
  2. Charge Fault

Will do either today or tomorrow.
  3. Charge Fault

I charge from 1 AM to 6 AM to save money. This morning I had a charge fault message on my Ford app for the first time (at home). The truck was set to charge to 90% but stopped at 85%. The truck runs fine this morning. My guess is there was some sort of "blip" in the electrical grid that caused...
  4. How often to run your ICE vehicle?

Thanks! This tank is about 6 months old. I clearly need to drive the car more often. I will add a fuel stabilizer.
  5. How often to run your ICE vehicle?

    It's a lease! No sentiment.
  6. How often to run your ICE vehicle?

I have two electric cars now (Lightning 23 and Volvo XC Recharge Twin 24). How often should I drive my ICE vehicle to keep it in the best shape engine wise and tire wise, etc?
  7. Has anyone successfully used an aftermarket NACS to CCS adapter?

A2Z works fine (finicky lock that loosens up over time) on both my Lightning and my friend's Mach-E (he takes frequent trips from NC to NJ).
  8. Apple Car Play Audio Issue

Hi, I use Apple Car Play wirelessly and have a recurring problem. First, playing music or a podcast often takes a while to connect and start playing. Sometimes it connects and plays right away. Sometimes it connects, and the time counter shows it is playing, but no sound. It seems random and...
  9. Waiting for a “June” adapter?

Mine was estimated May then slipped to June, arrived this week.
  10. Estimating Efficiency on Long Uphill Drives

I got 1.8 going from 660 feet to 3500 feet in NC but rarely broke 65 MPH. It was relatively cold and windy.
  11. Ford Adapter Delayed; Glad I got an A2Z

Just got an email notice that the delivery of my free Ford Adapter has been pushed back from May to June. Glad I have the A2Z adapter. Hope Ford is underpromising and will over deliver.
  12. A2Z Tesla and Charge Fault

I got the plug and charge update last night and will try it this morning. I thought the dealer had done it, but evidently not. Yay!
  13. A2Z Tesla and Charge Fault

Since posting the start of the the thread my experience is what you detailed so well. When failing with the A2Z it is either user error (and the lock is "fiddly" as I put it - hard to tell if locked but it loosens up fine over time) or the chargers aren't available to us if V2 or other reasons.
  14. First charge at Tesla supercharger with A2Z adapter. Peak 165 kWh charge

I did not. Today I did stop at the Tesla chargers in Boone NC and successfully charged after a failed attempt. My view is some chargers are not open and the lock on the A2Z is a bit fiddly. So the two add up to failures, sometimes my fault and sometimes not. On the way up I charged a Circle K...
  15. First charge at Tesla supercharger with A2Z adapter. Peak 165 kWh charge

I charged at a Tesla site for the first time this week. No plug and play but the Tesla app worked. Then yesterday in the way to the NC mountains I was unable to charge at a Tesla supercharger and had to stop at Circle K in Boone. I will try the Tesla superchargers in Boone on the way home...
  16. Photos from new Tesla Supercharging station w/ new charger placement (for trucks)

It doesn't crowd the charger you are using the way a normal bank of Tesla chargers would (or at least the one's I've seen). The car using the charger next to you would be parked on the other side.
