    If ER batteries are a constraint, then SR batteries will be a constraint. Internally they use the same cell arrays, the ER battery just gets one more array than the SR. The dealer statement is questionable.

    The regen process is not 100% efficient, but coasting IS 100% efficient. Regen is, of course, the best alternative when you must brake, versus using the mechanical brakes, which are 0% efficient, lol.

    The most efficient mode is the one with the least regen when not pushing the accelerator. One-pedal is the least efficient mode.

    Crude explanation: The general schedule is based on material availability. The plant itself only sees small chunks of orders at a time, and those are optimized on trim levels for what it sees.
