it was not a shelf item—I ordered it. same with my Spectra360—was ordered fully optioned way more than pleased with both of them. different tasks for each of them. what might take the old one several hours to accomplish, the new one does in about 5 min.

Old one is plenty capable, 5yr old win10, 1tb/32ram—just a slow I3 processor. But, today I had to order a new battery for it. I guess I’ll download the program onto the new one and just use the temp license for now. Adaptors and cables coming tomorrow, and I won’t get battery til next week.

Only time I use CarPlay is when I’m using some sort of navigation. I did not opt for satellite when subscriptions ran out. CarPlay did a few weird things when I received a call, so I pretty much nipped that in the bud by just using Bluetooth and using my phone or tablet fora music source.

The mounting plates were on the truck. I had the dealer install the cleats. I have read where the plates will also accept “E” track clips. But, they are not a snug fit.

The box link cleats are an option. pretty sure the plates are on all trims. my 301 XLT had the plates and I bought the cleats all the trucks I have seen had the plates even if the box link option was not on the sticker

I run these on my 98 K1500 Anything in the 40s seems too squishy to me. 50 works out well for a firm but good ride. Anything over 50 in this unladen pickup is like riding in an old lumber truck and not pleasant at all.
