i use that big shifter spot to hold my big coffee mugs.
Bth fit in there just fine.
This is my first AT truck ever, and since I ordered that big ol console, I was sure to get a mug holder.
Besides, I drove one with the console shift. Did not feel right as the shifter handle was too much lower...
Not certain all the 2-wd trucks have them.
Maybe the ones with the HDDP package.
I have a SuperCab 8’ box 4x4.
I don’t have 4x4 for crawling over things so I really would like to lower the rear a couple of inches.
Maybe the block removal and a shackle kit to bring it down at least 2”
Might get to play with this stuff today.
The bluetooth adapter claims it will be fine for GM stuff for reading and testing.
The box this OBDLink MX+ came in rivals a good jewelry store box
it was not a shelf item—I ordered it.
same with my Spectra360—was ordered fully optioned
way more than pleased with both of them.
different tasks for each of them.
what might take the old one several hours to accomplish, the new one does in about 5 min.
Old one is plenty capable, 5yr old win10, 1tb/32ram—just a slow I3 processor.
But, today I had to order a new battery for it.
I guess I’ll download the program onto the new one and just use the temp license for now.
Adaptors and cables coming tomorrow, and I won’t get battery til next week.
Okay
downloaded ForScan lite to my Apple stuff.
ordered the cables suggested.
Now I guess I need to download to one of my laptops.
One of the laptops is an I3 I think, it’s kinda old but still works—slowly
The other laptop is a “lightning fast” Spectra with an I7.
will the old one work okay...
I have the ones in the bottom picture.
I like them, but I actually got them to make it easier on her.
I use them religiously getting in but only occasionally getting out.
I have a SuperCab with an 8’ box and I do wish these things extended past the cab just bit.
These new trucks are just so tall...
Only time I use CarPlay is when I’m using some sort of navigation.
I did not opt for satellite when subscriptions ran out.
CarPlay did a few weird things when I received a call, so I pretty much nipped that in the bud by just using Bluetooth and using my phone or tablet fora music source.

American Racing Torque Thusts were put on two weeks after car was purchased.
Skinny tires, 300hp , weighs about 4ounces, and a clutch—This car can party
The mounting plates were on the truck.
I had the dealer install the cleats.
I have read where the plates will also accept “E” track clips. But, they are not a snug fit.
The box link cleats are an option.
pretty sure the plates are on all trims.
my 301 XLT had the plates and I bought the cleats
all the trucks I have seen had the plates even if the box link option was not on the sticker
Im in Bexar county.
I went with the XLT Baja Tan specifically for the heat and had no desire whatsoever for leather seating.
Most of my vehicles have had darker interiors, but when I bought the 98 k1500 with the beige interior (and swapped the base vinyl for cloth buckets), the interior space...
not likely noise level.
more likely a frequency the man is not tolerant of.
incessant repeating, and a few frequencies annoy the hell out of me.
the frequencies will give me splitting headaches.
I also cannot filter background noises.
you can be standing 3’ in front of me talking directly to me...
I actually went to the store to order a 2020.
I got invoice on that order.
Informed later in the day 2020 was not an option.
Told them to go ahead and order the same in a 2021.
They still gave me the invoice price on it, and it came out to be a few hundred
less than the outgoing model. A few of...
This peaked my interest a bit.
i have one failing.
these are the conditions.
between 15-20 miles of driving.
100* ambient temp
50-80 mph cruise home
religiously fails around 50 mph after getting off freeway.
no issues below 95* ambient
works just fine in the mornings
need to get this...
I run these on my 98 K1500
Anything in the 40s seems too squishy to me.
50 works out well for a firm but good ride.
Anything over 50 in this unladen pickup is like riding in an old lumber truck and not pleasant at all.
This would be me. Hell, this is my first pickup with power windows and automatic trans.
Im pretty content with tilt, AC, Cruise. Everything else are just perks.
USB inside console, in the back of the console and on the dash are “charge only”
Data ports are in the front of th console or lower center on bench seat trucks
I’ve had a few over the years.
deep down inside, I am a MOPAR fan, and I started early with the toys.
my parents had several HEMI powered vehicles growing up.
(392 Chrysler HEMI looks like it was made for a 53-56 F100)
I started out in 75 with a 70 Plymouth Sport Fury GT 440-6–I was 15
