  1. How Much Battery Capacity And Range Has My Ford F-150 Lightning Lost After 3 Years and 38,000 Miles?

Personally, I thought that was just about the right amount of detail. Out of spec would have found some way to turn that into a 3 hour two-parter.
  2. How much power does "camping mode" consume?

After a long trip, especially if it includes dc fast charging, my BMS will adjust the reported state of charge up or down by a percent or two overnight. Are we sure we're looking at true power consumption, vs. some consumption + a BMS adjustment?
  3. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

I've got the A2ZEV Typhoon pro, and the original Ford adapter. I'm happy with both, but would buy the A2Z again in a heartbeat. Solid.
  4. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

I have a script for such matters: 'Hey, I poured you this glass of wine, because I thought you might like to have a random glass of wine. Anyway, about that adapter...'
  5. Anyone have Vortex adapter from this manufacturer?

I think the most relevant question here is how is The Wife going to respond to you wanting to return a reasonably thoughtful birthday gift. High voltage/high current electricity is one thing, but this person is one invasive thought away from murdering you in your sleep.
  6. Full charge, bang, "Exit vehicle safely" - truck dead in driveway

LOL. Happy 4th of July from Ford Motor Company. This is a bummer. I hope your day gets nothing but better from here.
  7. Full charge, bang, "Exit vehicle safely" - truck dead in driveway

I'm not expert, but my understanding is there are pyrotechnic fuses that isolated the battery in the event of a major electrical fault. They're literally explosive charges, that would sound like small fireworks.
  8. Full charge, bang, "Exit vehicle safely" - truck dead in driveway

This seems like the pyrotechnic fuse(s) blew, maybe?
  9. Bluecruise 1.5 - automated lane changes - MotorTrend test drive

Same here on the comma ai. More capable, more functional, probably cheaper in the long run. Just need to get over the hump of 3rd party vehicle control vs. OEM. I'm pretty much there, but The Wife is a little more conservative than I am on these matters.
  10. F-150 Lightning LED Ford Emblem Swap. Step by Step Installation DIY Video.

I don't have the camera washer. I'm not going to add the camera washer. I don't need the camera washer. But I watched this video, and I saw the camera washer work, and now the stupid part of me that digs stuff like that really wants that camera washer.
  11. F-150 Lightning LED Ford Emblem Swap. Step by Step Installation DIY Video.

I'm wondering how this all worked out from the driver's side headlight back through the existing wire loom. This does seem like the cleanest approach to me, and has the potential benefit of possibility avoiding radio interference since the routing is on the opposite side, away from the antenna.
  12. V4 Tesla stations open to Ford EVs?

I've charged my wife's Mach E there a couple times without issue. That location also has 400 kw Mercedes chargers which are quite nice and not too much more expensive than the superchargers.
  13. Charge Station Pro Installed today - won't charge past 3.2kw/15A

I'm in the south too. That sounds like a pretty sweet setup. You wanna be friends? ?
  14. FordPass Update - Dark Mode/New Authorization

    Me too, brother.
  15. Not getting software updates, how do owners know if something is wrong?

Well at least we all gave Brian Not AI From Ford a few weeks on the job before someone asked the impossible question. Rough one to answer first thing on Monday morning after the Superbowl, though.
  16. Show a picture from your daily commute!..

I've done that very same thing driving around N E Iowa. Of course, it was 35 years ago, and I was driving a '79 Mercury Bobcat, and the radio was AM only, but the scenery was the same...
  17. Bluecruise 1.4 officially being sent out to F150 & Lightnings starting today (12/11/24)!

I work at nasa, and this thread now has a higher density of acronyms than any of my work meetings.
