Perhaps someone can educate me. Do the dealership "buy" their vehicles that they sell from Ford or are they assigned vehicles that they sell. Or some mystical combination of both? I would think if an individual ordered a vehicle from Ford, that the receiving/"selling" dealer would get a standard...
I agree that the sales of EVs are always increasing BUT..... there are regional differences. As xenoilphobe said, if you live in a relative poor area like western north carolina and can't find anyone who will work on electric vehicles, it doesn't do much to help your sales.
This is from a flyer that my local Ford dealer sent out a few days ago. Not only has this been sitting on their lot for 2 years (I know because I've seen it there) the dealership won't even service electric vehicles now.
