  1. 100% EV now...

Lots of ICE 150 owners! My lightning replaced a 2009 F-150 XLT SuperCrew 4x2 4.6L 3V that I drove for 180,000 miles and it was still running great.
  2. Unexpectedly low range

Gotta slow down and turn the heater off to stay closer to summer range. Cold air is denser than warm air, so it's like a strong summer headwind. Now also subtract out your (resistive) heater usage, not just the external temp loss from battery chemistry.
  3. Unexpectedly low range

Standard range is 200 in good conditions, but I'm seeing 170 miles (1.7 mi/kWh) at highway speed in 30 degree weather. HOWEVER I can run heat off (use seat heater only) and slow down to 65 (or 55 if possible) and still get the EPA 240 miles.
  4. Cybertruck Prices and Trim

That's "peak" traditional dealership though. Traditional dealerships would advertise cars at prices that were technically possible to achieve, but that hardly anyone could get away with actually paying. You remember the ads, with fine print that way beyond the typical "plus tax, tag, and doc"...
  5. Consumer Reports Real-World EV range test, 22 EVs tested for range; F150 Lightning tested worst (50 miles less range than EPA estimate/claim)

Right, and Tom then ran the exact same test in a Pro SR and got 200 miles, which is exactly what I see in mine under same circumstances (70mph, decent weather)
  6. What is the maximum speed for the F150 Lightning?

How quickly would it drain the battery at 107?
  7. Duke Power NC Charging Trial

I'll look into it more. Duke did finally rebate me for my charger install!
  8. Duke Power NC Charging Trial

Rick I haven't even started any scheduling at all, I just plug it in and verify that it's charging before I walk off. I guess I've read too many horror stories of people who had a charge schedule set for 10pm or midnight or whatever, then woke up in the morning expecting the truck to be ready to...
  9. Duke Power NC Charging Trial

That program would save me about $48 per month, but I didn't like the idea of not being in control of my charging (Duke says "minimal disruption to typical charging habits"). If I plug it in and tell it to charge, I want it to charge! Maybe I'll get more comfortable with the idea the longer I...
  10. Capital Ford Raleigh NC Service

Awesome! Cooper Ford in Carthage, NC is fantastic as well.
  11. Fleet Pro MSRP: $46,xxx?

MSRPS were on a wild ride for a bit, especially for Pros ($39k to $46k, to $51k, to $55k, to $59k, now to $49k) and there was much confusion about how existing orders would be handled.
  12. Buying an XLT Extended Range for $55K

Congrats on your new Lightning! And, sorry for your loss.
  13. Unlock additional horsepower on Standard battery through Forescan?

My understanding was that it's not software limited but hardware limited; the smaller battery on the SR has a lower peak power output than the larger battery.
  14. Resale value

Black Book should be pretty accurate, for the 22 XLT 311A with 13k miles, they say it's a $48k truck with retail ranges from $41k (rough) to $56k (extra clean), and dealer trade in values from 36 (rough) to 47 (clean)
  15. Resale value

Black Book is what most dealers use. Resale seems to be holding OK for now, next year who knows, may drop another 10-15%r? http://www.blackbookportals.com/bb/products/usedcarhtmlportal.asp?color=o&companyid=thinkbank.COM
  16. Tesla adapter cost

I'd pay for the extension cable if I could use it with or without the adapter (adapter plus extension at Tesla stations, just the extension cable on CCS)
  17. Looking for perspective from drivers of SR Lightings used as work trucks

Honeymoon phase here as well, haven't gone through a winter yet, but I'm loving my Pro work truck so far. To try and answer your questions, I very easily get 2.8 mi/kWh or 270 miles around town and on 45-55 mph back roads with some hills curves and stops for regen. High speed interstate highways...
