From Ford Authority yesterday:

Zero percent financing plus a $7500 tax credit, reasonably priced Lightnings are here!
In addition to Ford Pass, I have four other DCFC apps on my iPhone: Electrify America, Charge Point, Volta (Shell) and Tesla. It’s like wearing a belt with suspenders. If it’s a fast charger, I probably can connect with it. ?
Tesla non-members pay $0.51 per kWh while members pay $0.38 per...
My Genuine Ford charging adapter arrived today (Order #1266). Like any kid with a new toy I had to try it out.
I put the Tesla plug into the adapter first, then plugged the adapter into the truck. That’s all it took. The Tesla charger recognized my truck and began charging. Totally...
Interesting. Cells #1, 6 & 9 are all located in Module #1. So if they replaced Module 1 the first time, does this mean they are replacing Module 1 a second time?
It’s probably Apple Maps, not your Lightning.
Go to Apple Maps. Click on your initials hitch brings up a pull down menu. This menu allows you to personalize Apple Maps to your preferences. Scroll down the menu and click on “Vehicles”. This let’s you set up Maps for your Lightning.
This truck will celebrate its 100th birthday in July. I won’t be around in 40 years, but hopefully someone will still be driving it.
Oh, it’s a Ford too.

Quoting from CSP23B57:
Less than 4% of the affected vehicle population is expected to require one or more high voltage battery modules needing to be replaced.

I joined the 4% club on 2/1/2024. Contacted my service representative at Grappone Ford Concord, NH who had me bring it in the same day. The diagnosis was cell 96 in module 9 was producing low voltage. They ordered the replacement parts the same day. i had the truck back on 2/15/2024. No...
The GOM is sometimes entertaining. It is strongly influenced by terrain and temperature. Three weeks ago driving from Dublin, NH to Marlborough, NH I hit 31 Mi/kWh (warm day, all down hill). Another time going from Dublin, NH to Jaffrey, NH the GOM actually increased over the 15 mile trip...
The GOM is so wildly inaccurate on my Lariat ER, I wish I could just turn it off. I get much better estimates using the percentage charge left in the battery and my mi/kwh, then doing a little math in my head.
On cold mornings (under about 40 degree), if I set a departure time when the truck is connected to a charger (even if it is not charging) I get full 100% power from the battery. If I just jump into the truck to run an errand under similar conditions, my available power is limited to 95% or less.
If I remember what my service technician told me correctly, if a single cell’s voltage falls 0.03 volts or more below the nominal output of 4.03 volts, the truck goes into reduced power mode. On my truck, the voltage in cell #96 in Module #9 dropped to 3.97 volts. Not much of a drop, but still...
