It's a little odd because lane keeping has its own icon.
I definitely agree (from another vehicle) that lane keeping, cross traffic, and pre-collision are invaluable.
It's on page 289 in manual version 1.1. Which I did not read because I don't have adaptive cruise. It's odd that the icon still does things (changes color) even without adaptive cruise.
I figured it out. In the center display,, under Apps, select Android Auto. It takes a little while to switch over. When it does, you have AA map and music, with album art. The screen button that was Phone changes to Android Auto. The Navigation button still calls up SYNC navigation.
I'm using an app (Musicolet) to play music present on my phone. Music play works fine. I think what it looks like is that at first the display was run by Android Auto, and now it's being run by SYNC. Just guessing.
Heliian, I suspect a subwoofer wouldn't fix the original problem. Don't they just add to the system, on top of the bad sound? 21st, I will look into this, sounds good, so to speak.
