Can you give me an idea on how far back from the coupling that is on your boat trailer? I need to add my sensor and I definitely don't want to dunk it. From my coupling to the in front of the winch post where I could first mount it would be about 14". The next spot I could mount it behind the...
Yeah, you're right on the green arrow. I think that was part of the screenshot that CommoSGT captured, not something they added to call attention to. As I read it, they are referring to the truck and trailer image, diagonally down to the right of the big green arrow. It looks backwards to me...
Ah, so sorry about that. I obviously missed the core question! I had a fob cover for mine on day one, so I never noticed or tried to tell them apart. I’ll see if I can check my second one.
I did mine as well today. This is a raised letter set from AutoCarImage in the "Real Carbon Fiber" color. I ordered through Amazon and I believe it was just this or black that they had to choose from. Pretty easy to apply.
You can specify which profile you want to set to which fob.
1. First, create your personal profile via the touchscreen - in the setup, you enter a name for your profile. You can now have applicable settings saved to this profile.
2. Bring the fob you want to associate to the profile into the...
Took about 5-6 days for mine to show up in the Ford Pass app. I believe new vehicle purchase is capped at 42,000 points which is a little over $200 in cash value. There are other posts on here that will give you the exact dollar figure.
When I had my 2015 Toyota Tacoma, I got some help from a well known audio guy on the Tacoma forums. He pointed me to a PIONEER TS-SW2502S4 10-Inch which worked really well for my needs. It looks like that model has been replaced now, but might be worth checking out their line. I just wanted a...
Interesting. Let me double check that, I’d be happy to adjust if needed.
I just added pics for my case. The one where it “sits up” is when the cover is closed first, then the gate. When it’s laying flat, it was closed gate, then cover. I’d really like it to be either way worked fine, then I’d...
I don't think it's just the auto tailgate, I think it's any tailgate. I don't have the auto tailgate on mine, and I have to shut the tailgate first, then the Truxedo X15 Pro last. Same exact setup as you, 21 Lariat with short bed, just no auto open/close.
Sure, no problem. I can get a better one later if you like. This was taken just a couple of minutes after a sleet shower passed through this morning, and I wasn't sure if more was on the way.
I did have mine remounted at Costco. I’m Carbonized Gray in the Lariat trim, but with Chrome package and 18” GoodYear, not the Sport, sorry. FWIW, I do like it much better. It was only like $80 to do, and less than an hour wait. You also get nitrogen at Costco if that’s something you care about...
Someone on one of the other forums said they thought the Ford boot screen was faster and that CarPlay connected quicker than before. I have to admit, today I did notice the boot screen seeming snappier, but CarPlay was always ready for me in the past, so can’t say I could tell a difference...
I dealt with 3 in WA in person, many in the area over the web. This will be a bit long, but give you the full picture.
Bickford - decent folks. Took a test drive of one of theirs (Platinum PB), came back and he asked me how I liked it. I said I would be interested to see a price sheet. Lariat...
This was my 2021 2.7L and me just playing around with towing my tin boat. Obviously, OP would need to punch values in for their needs, but sharing as general FYI.
I have read, though have not yet confirmed, that when your screen is on the CarPlay tab, the "speak" button on your steering wheel is supposed to be routed to your phone/Siri and not Sync 4. I can't recall where I saw that, but maybe worth checking out. It might stand to reason that the other...
I think they all fold, but on 2021, you had to have Lariat and above to get power folding. XLT was manual. That was one of the big things for me because I have to have folded mirrors to fit into my garage. Manual folding was a hard no.
Adding my thanks for the write-up as well. My Truxedo Pro X-15 is on the UPS truck, out for delivery today. Should have it here shortly. I'm also getting the retractable Bull Rings tie downs that arrive tomorrow. I'm going to have to check and see if they might need to be installed first as I'm...
