yep - except you can't get the "button" feature in XLT trim so you must stop, get out and manually fold the mirrors. Now if you could get a Lariot with the sport cloth seats the mirrors would be nice to have
before getting the tires I would suggest getting a speedometer app to verify your current calibration. I did not do this but after installing 275/65r20 tires my speedometer is off by ~ 1% (reads 60mph when app shows 60.6mph for example) - I think the original reading was probably a bit faster...
I chose the 275/65R20 Terra Grappler and have them installed on stock wheels with no suspension mods.
Also using a speedo app on my iPhone shows ~ 1% difference seems maybe my speedo was reading LOW with the stock tires?
Not sure of your specific use requirements but your other option is the Terra Grappler in 275/65R20 but in a NON-LT which would save some weight and probably increase MPG. The
Terra in 275/65R20 = 47.40
Terra in LT295/60R20 = 60.65
Ridge in LT275/65R20 = 60.85
I've looking at these for...
yes - my primary motivator to change would be to save weight and get better mpg along with slightly less poke, but if you need/want the LT tire then you would not get that benefit
hmm - at this point I working on closing the deal on the truck w/o the mirrors - if that falls through and I go back to the 2nd dealer and the truck with the tow mirrors - I'll discuss this further with you.
Looks good - how much do they help with road spray?
The poke does not appear to be out past the mud flap no the steps - if the tires are not throwing rocks you might be good to keep what you have
I have seen several posts that they fit on stock wheels w/o a level. Also Sam Mizer with the backroads youtube channel has 305/55r20 on a +12 offset wheel and 2" level - they fit, but just barely nik the bottom corner of the lower airdam - I think the 275/65/r20 in the same brand tire as he...
Well I have decided on the truck with standard mirrors. I drove the truck with the trailer mirrors and while I did find them very useful for backing up and viewing lanes behind me I found that at corners the mirrors were in my vision often (might get used to this?) and my garage doors are...
depending on which tire you started with your odometer/speedometer and thus the mpg calculator are reading low - you are actually getting better mpg than displayed - that said the heavy tires you have are going to hurt the mpg
you should do a hand calculation with your next full tank to...
