Iād expect some jealous employee to point it out to the CFO at some point as a benefit someone else is getting that they arenāt. When I was running that side of things at a construction company if the bill spiked I would investigate what changed. Where I live a Lightining ER from 20-80% costs...
Height wise I think you could fit the standard depth organizers on top of the drawers in there.
Iām looking at doing the same setup with packout drawers, I picked up a set from Home Depot a couple days ago. Right now Iām using a medium packout vertically against the back wall so I can also fit...
Due to high electricity rates I charge then unplug our EVās when they are parked in the garage. I donāt generally need all the range I can get in the morning and donāt want to have the constant draw of the truck trying to keep its battery warm.
The OEM wheels on current Fords are hub centric. The lug nuts are simply clamping the wheel to the hub, not supporting the weight of the truck. Iām not surprised that a single lug nut could survive a short trip, but I still might buy a lottery ticket afterwards.
Iām going to add a Tesla universal wall connector at some point, probably outside. The current Gen 3 works great on both the Y and Lightning (A2Z adapter), but we only have one open garage space for charging. I was dumb and didnāt buy the universal version when we got the Tesla in March 2024...
I keep a $10 harbor freight torque wrench in my road box for the same reason. The HF cheapie torque wrenches are actually decent and their plastic case is smaller than other brands so it fits in my box. Here in the northeast where things rust Iāve found many a crusty steel spare wheel that got...
I have properly abused my new 2024 Flash yet, the truck only has 550 miles on it and the weather has been crap. I have given it the beans from 30 mph on an onramp, it launched ahead nicely. My 2022 Pro was properly punchy off the line.
Iām collecting the credit for my 36 panel solar install in 2024. Now that I have two EVās Iām contemplating 12 additional panels in 2025 if my controller will accept them. I donāt need more panels, but with the Lightning Iām calculating being over by 1,000 kWh compared to the first yearās...
When I got my 2022 Pro I didnāt use 1pd because I was driving dozens of different vehicles monthly for work and didnāt want to end up confusing myself. Fast forward to 2024 when we purchased a Tesla and there is only 1pd, on my new 2024 Flash Iām only using 1pd. I donāt find that I have a...
States are a lot closer together in New England. On the initial charge on an ER battery I can get to six different states, and I live on Cape Cod that is on the eastern edge of MA. The farthest I go routinely is ~240 miles to St Johnsbury, VT.
I used to live in AZ, I donāt think I wouldāve...
No special fees, but the excise tax still seems like Mauraās hand rummaging around my pocket (not in a good way ?). I know itās paid to the town, but itās a state program. Excise tax on my lease for three years is about $3400.
I used the diode dynamics harness I linked earlier in this thread behind the bumper plugged in between the truckās harness and the 7 pin connector. Two weeks in and I havenāt seen any kind of faults.
My 2024 Flash is pretty darn quiet. If the truck werenāt a lease Iād be adding some more sound deadening just because, followed by audio upgrades. The stock B&O is decent for volumes Iāll listen to, but I would like a better subwoofer setup for those times I want to indulge in 80ās and 90ās...
Traditionally the rear locker has not been a common option for most pickups. Offroad or specific trims received it for harder offroad use. My 2021 Bronco Badlands has front and rear selectable lockers. Locking the rear wheels together would make the truck harder to drive in snow, but would...
I submitted all the documents for my rebate on Friday 1/10/2025. I finally received confirmation of my submission today 1/22/2025. I was getting a little nervous they hadn't received it. The confirmation states āYour documents will be sent for review and final approval by the Department of...
