  1. Anyone else notice the leather seats in Lariat trim wear poorly?

Following what @Akbrian says as well. I wonder if tightening the clips and making them stay on the bottom of the seat will fix it?
  2. [Updated with Ford statement 2/15/23] 🛑 Lightning Stop Production / Stop Shipment Issued (due to potential battery issue)

I think this depends on your situation. I have a charger in my garage and I park outside. I also have to wrap my cord around my charger with some trash cans in the way. It's a bit more complicated than just plugging in. I'd rather spend the five minutes playing with my kids than worrying about...
  3. [Updated with Ford statement 2/15/23] 🛑 Lightning Stop Production / Stop Shipment Issued (due to potential battery issue)

Time is the most important resource we have in life. So, it depends on how much time you want to spend on continuously plugging and unplugging your truck into your charger. I certainly don't want to do it unless I really need to. I let me truck go to 30 - 50% then charge it, which is an average...
  4. [Updated with Ford statement 2/15/23] 🛑 Lightning Stop Production / Stop Shipment Issued (due to potential battery issue)

Yes, I think this is often overlooked. My home charger is 40 amps and I refuse to go over that simply because slower is better. Good comments.
  5. [Updated with Ford statement 2/15/23] 🛑 Lightning Stop Production / Stop Shipment Issued (due to potential battery issue)

Mickey AO has some great advice and is correct. There are battery testers that also do this analysis, and not just EVs, but all kinds of devices that use the similar battery technology. - Mickey AO says 85%, but the real number is to keep your charge under 95% (from a majority of experts). -...
  6. Center Console Door FLOPPY NO MORE! [$0.20 SOLUTION!!]

Yeah, I put in a nickel on each spring four months ago, and it is still limp. I need to add a nickel to each side.
  7. My Lightning Build is Complete… For Now! XPEL Stealth PPF, 2" Rough Country Lift Kit, A/T Tires, Painted Lightbars, Painted Wheels, Debadged & More

I am not a fan of red, but, this looks really, really good. Nicely done. Do you mind telling us how much the wrap cost?
  8. UnderCover Ultra Flex

    Nice. That’s still looks new!
  9. FordPass Rewards Points can be applied / redeemed online starting January 30, 2023

Great! Also, how long until points expire?
  10. UnderCover Ultra Flex

I don't, but this video does a good job of showing it: UltraFlex Video
  11. UnderCover Ultra Flex

Yes, it is a carpet-like material. Not soft and cushy, but more like a rug. It feels nice sitting on, and looks great.
  12. Priority Update: 22-PU-1009-MIL-DTE Calculation

My update has failed four times in the last 18 hours. I'll plug it in tonight and charge to 90% to see if it updates.
  13. Maintenance Schedule - 10k service

There isn't anything different about these tire rotations, so any normal tire shop should be able to do them, correct? (Like Discount Tire, Evans, etc)
  14. Maintenance Schedule - 10k service

But seriously, shouldn't we rotate the tires every 5,000 miles?
  15. UnderCover Ultra Flex

Did all the research. I didn't want to lose interior space because of a roll-up, and I wanted a trifold for practicality and looks. It came down to Re-Trax and UnderCover and I chose the Ultra Flex because it looks the best (imo).
  16. Who here has taken delivery of a Lightning and had NO issues with it?

This is exactly my thinking. I've owned many vehicles, and my F-150 was by far the best.
  17. Who here has taken delivery of a Lightning and had NO issues with it?

HAHA. I am going to start using that. I will probably add, to it... " Imagine your Tesla, except with poor UI and phone app, but CarPlay and built like an F-150."
  18. Who here has taken delivery of a Lightning and had NO issues with it?

2,200 miles and three months in. I love it. The driving experience is INSANE. It's been major issue free. Only two small things: a) The floppy center console bugs me. I did the nickel trick, still not much better. It needs a stronger spring. This isn't an issue, it's just a design decision I...
  19. Better Range on Freeways - 1 or 2 pedal w/Bluecruise

This chart is great. On my upcoming trip, I'll see how close to this I get. I am going to set my Bluecruise at 68 and see if I get about 275 miles. I'll report back when I do. Do you remember the thread you got this chart from?
  20. Better Range on Freeways - 1 or 2 pedal w/Bluecruise

This is good advice...watching the remaining range to the location (with charger) and if I can get there faster, then floor it!
