  1. âś… 9/19 Lightning Build Week Group

I could be reading the threads here with Atlas Blue-colored glasses, but it seems quite a few orders in NY/NJ (I'm in NJ) are delivered within 2-4 weeks after production is complete. That's from checking out the 8/1, 8/8 and 8/15 build week threads. I realize things can change. AND just...
  2. âś… 9/19 Lightning Build Week Group

I pulled my window sticker, with a blend date of 9/22, and personal order page still says week of 9/19. My dealer texted me last week, telling me mine is scheduled for production ON 9/19. I can only assume I am good to go, unless something weird happens.
  3. âś… 9/26 Lightning Build Week Group

I'm back to 9/19. Not complaining, just sayin'!!!
  4. âś… 9/19 Lightning Build Week Group

I was originally 9/19, got moved to 9/26 several weeks ago (I was the only one in that week on this forum and looking for a friend), and now I am back to 9/19.
  5. âś… 7/18 Lightning Build Week Group

Will be curious as to how you do. Guessing from your screen name and looked you up, I am in NJ like you. My production date is October 1. May be one of the last 2022 models in NJ.
  6. âś… 9/26 Lightning Build Week Group

Yeah, I saw another guy in NJ, a fellow firefighter, got his super quick. Hope there is an open pipeline to Joisey!
  7. âś… 9/26 Lightning Build Week Group

My dealer texted me, said I am set for production on October 1. I guess the production week runs through Saturday? I forget, does it only take a day or two to "build" the vehicle? Dealer is going to try to get delivery information.
  8. Disappointment Thursday

I don't see the need to share my VIN, but does that help this forum in some way? Maybe I'm being weirdly paranoid. I'll gladly share my DOB, SSN, DL#, the street lived on when I was 8 and anything else. ;)
  9. Disappointment Thursday

Anybody else get this e-mail from Ford this morning? I'm usually optimistic, but I get the sense they may be setting those with later build dates up for disappointment?: "Dear XXXX: Big things are happening right now. We are excited to let you know your 2022 F-150 Lightning LARIAT SuperCrew...
  10. If you are over the income limits (150/300k) of the new bill and haven't gotten your truck....

Agree with you. From the IRS link posted above, quote: "Vehicles Purchased and Delivered between August 16, 2022 and December 31, 2022 If you purchase and take possession of a qualifying electric vehicle after August 16, 2022 and before January 1, 2023, aside from the final assembly...
  11. Would I still qualify for current federal rebate?

For what it's worth, Reuters story (linked below) says: " New restrictions on battery sourcing and critical minerals, along with price caps and income caps, take effect on Jan. 1, which will potentially make all current EVs ineligible for the full $7,500 credit. "...
  12. Anyone pay over MSRP for the Lightning?

Figured out on another vehicle that my dealer made about $800 for "charges" to process the title and registration. Expect to get the same charges when we complete the sale of the Lightning. That is more than attorneys charge. Document fee: $599 ($249 clerical, $175 document delivery, $175...
  13. If you are over the income limits (150/300k) of the new bill and haven't gotten your truck....

That form (I know it is a boilerplate form that many dealers use) looks familiar and so do the charges- (the window etch fee (which is total BS) and the doc fees. Did you also consider the registration and title fee of $399? I think we may be buying from the same dealer, but in a different...
  14. If you are over the income limits (150/300k) of the new bill and haven't gotten your truck....

Not related to the income limit, but I had changed the stock 20” All-season Tires to 275/60R20 BSW ALL-TERRAIN tires based on this thread and reviews. That caused my MSRP to go over $80,000, and that was a problem for the new Bill passed by Congress. My dealer was able to get the tires...
  15. Lightning tires and range

I had changed the stock 20” All-season Tires to 275/60R20 BSW ALL-TERRAIN tires based on this thread and reviews. That caused my MSRP to go over $80,000, and that was a problem for the new Bill passed by Congress. My dealer was able to get the tires changed back to stock tires, and the rep...
  16. If you are over the income limits (150/300k) of the new bill and haven't gotten your truck....

Yup. Very familiar with this. I sent an e-mail to my dealer asking if we can prepare binding agreement, and no response. When I discussed this issue at the dealer, it seems almost every little thing with Lightnings has to be approved by Ford. If it is a contract/legal issue, it could take...
