Thanks for the info on that. I have the Lariat, so the ZL and Bed Lights were present. I'm used to my past Ridgelines were if you opened the tailgate barn door style, the bed lights came on. If you lowered it traditionally, they did not come on so that you could haul cargo with the tailgate...
Hey Beav - I'm a veteran FORscan user but I can't find the coding in any of the forums for bed lights on with zone lighting? I've done every other mod I wanted and have put the laptop and OBD cable down for a while.
Can you point me in the direction of the coding for this? I assume the bed...
Agreed. I did the FORScan coding early December for Anti-Glare and perfect timing with the darkness of the winter season. So much better than auto high beams (which worked good on the Lightning IMO vs previous vehicles I owned).
But as I noted, this will admittedly not be resolved for the foreseeable future, so a disable would be perfect. Seems like from my experience with FORscan, it would have a codes solution but possibly having an EPA element, it could be blocked...
NEXT FORSCAN CLASS ASSIGNMENT: See if any of us can find an Active Air Dam DISABLE. I have no damage, ice stuck, etc but randomly get the message about an issue with the Active Air Dam. Has never been stuck in down position. I assume it is just not always lowering. Very common issue and...
BTW, I decided to not be such a cheap b*stard and return the Veepeak. Got an OBDLink EX as recommended by FORscan and others. Running a 20% discount on Amazon, so only $47. Maybe I am still cheap...?
I can confirm you need just purchase date, VIN and year/make/model for Form 8936. Did it for the 2021 tax year on TurboTax for our previous RAV4 Prime.
I believe there will still be the 30% credit on charging aka EVSE equipment and related circuits/wiring. I got a $174 credit for work I did...
I just did my Glare Free today and tested after dark. I does require you to be going over 30 mph to have the Glare Free really be active enough to notice.
I did see that you can still force high beams with a pull back of the stalk (actually useful for me when at our cottage and in deep woods...
You are correct. I just went and looked. I flipped the switch at night and thought I was going HS to MS.
Once I did make the change, I haven't had to toggle back (I thought there were both older MS and newer HS modules but must apply to older F-150s).
Got this somewhat figured out. I used the text line entries for Global Open and Close (not the As Built option).
Had to ENABLE in BCM, PDM, DDM and APIM and once all 4 modules were mark ENABLE and saved, it worked and the menu items were added under Settings>Vehicle>Windows.
All good. Have all...
Global Windows Question: I coded it in AS BUILT and didn't have success. In fact, my auto down with fob stopped working. I restored the values and remote down still not working. I tried in the APIM TEXT aka Sync 4 module (non-AS BUILT) APIM and ENABLED global windows up and down, still no...
Yeah, I thought Walk Away Locking was included with PaaK but not so (at least yet). So with PaaK you need to touch the door handle button or lock on FordPass. I agree the round center lock on the fob is more convenient.
I do think when you touch the door handle to lock, you do arm the...
Got the PaaK OTA last night. June 7 delivery, so have had my truck for almost 9,500 miles. PaaK works good. Nice integration with the FordPass app. Works perfect so far. Wish it had the Walk Away Locking like the Mach-E. I loved Walk Away Lock on my past Honda Ridgeline(s).
I'm used to my...
I never got organized for a cruise night or similar like I should have. I went to the EV Week event downtown on Sept 24. I've seen 5 Lightnings in the wild in 9500 miles. 2 locals at the EA in Cheektowaga.
I've seen more Rivians actually. All summer driving to the cottage in Haliburton, ON and...
I'm at the other end of the state (Buffalo) and occasionally down to Tappan where my daughter lives.
Was just down that way 2 weeks ago, so no current plans and have a cottage close in Ontario to do.
I spotted an Atlas Blue Lightning Lariat on the lot at Orleans Ford in Medina, NY. The wife and I were on our way back from kayaking and took the shot next to my AMB.
Also spotted a Rapid Red Lightning at Dave Smith Ford (where I got mine). Have seen one Atlas Blue Lariat in the wild at the EA...
I had Build week of 5/2, then In Production 5/11, Built 5/26 and was at the dealer 6/7. However, in the Buffalo area and only about a 4.5 hr drive from the Rouge plant, so shipment was quick.
That is about what we show during summer. To confirm - ours is an AWD Limited with the 20 in wheels. At 100% we showed 314 miles before a recent road trip. Our overall efficiency is 3.2 mi/KW in 7,700 miles but a lot of hwy at 2.9 to 3 and a lot of Feb/Mar cold weather driving. In the summer...
Don't even try to out guess the guess o meter... Waaayyy too many variables.
I drove our Ioniq 5 in rolling hills at slow speeds on a 20 mile tour in Cape Cod and INCREASED range from 83 miles left to 97 miles.
Battery degradation is really only a thing later in life aka 75k+ miles assuming...
