I successfully updated to 2.4.3 last night. Surely that doesn't mean that I need 8 more updated to get to 2.5.2. (I believe the announcement was 5-7 updates depending on truck configuration & features)
Any idea how many updates I have yet to go to be fully Bluecruise enabled?
Is it better to set your truck to āScheduled Updatesā or just āAuto updateā? Also - is there anything else to in preparation of getting the potential update as soon as possible? I recall one post recommend that the e-brake is set. Not sure if valid.
Iām early access, but have not heard...
So - I called the dealership ahead of my 3:00pm appointment today to make sure they knew what the issue is. They have not been informed by Ford on how to handle / what to expect / etc. The service advisor (to his credit) did talk with me for awhile and we discussed how he typically sees things...
I scheduled an appointment with my dealership for Monday with the description of 'BlueCruise install per EFC09801 21MY F-150 bulletin issued by Ford on 1/28/22.'
I fully expect that they won't be ready, so I'll call them ahead of time to confirm that they have this capability before I waste a trip.
The delays and lack of communication from Ford on this issue has just zapped my excitement for it. I signed up for the early access; was led to believe that I would get by end of 3rd quarter, then would check my email for an update leading into the 4th quarter. Now Iām just past it. It will...
I like that mount. I have my Escort Max360C hardwired much like yours. However, I have the suction cup that will occasionally fall down during high/low temp combinations.
Now that we are in the 3rd quarter of 2021, has anyone heard an update on the status of when we āmight expectā the BlueCruise OTA update? I thought I had read awhile back to expect 3rd quarter, which in my mind meant last Sept and not early-July - BTW.
When searching websites, I couldnāt find...

Here you go. Price has gone up (I paid $27). You may consider the Home Depot one that fg3 posted instead as that one is more in line with what I paid. Great accessory - without a doubt.
Looking for something about half the size of the swing case. I keep a telescoping cross bar in my truck so that items nearest the tailgate donāt slide around. I ATV/UTV/Dirtbike quite a bit so Iām usually shuttling gas cans around that say put with that bar. While the swing case is nice, my...
Is anyone aware of a weatherproof(ish) bag/box that clips into one of the side wall cleats? I want something just to organize my hitch receiver; tie-down straps, couple of tools; etc. (without having to store those in my backseat- under-the-seat cargo.)
I saw a saddlebag solution in one...
From the OP post up top, you indicate that the older ones would fit. Did you mean in the backseat, or all around? I have WeatherTech in my ā16 Platinum. I had just assumed they wouldnāt fit in my new 2021.
Any ideas if they actually will fit?
Thanks for the pictures! Yes, based on what youāve shown, Iād be more than happy with that. (Iād also be happy with taking possession of my new truck, but thatās a different issue).
Have a great evening.
