Just got our truck back from the shop, and wife discovered this new "feature". She HATES lane centering. I suppose I'll have to adjust it to lowest setting since it cannot be removed.
Took four weeks, but we have had the truck back for a couple days now. So far so good. 3 modules replaced. So glad to have the recall done and can safely charge to 100% again when needed.
Looks like mine needs three modules replaced and some heat shields. Service manager said it would take a week and a half to get the parts and another day or two to do the work. They gave me a loaner and said I could drive the truck until parts are in, or just keep the loaner till done. They have...
My shop manager said they had to charge it up to %100 then take the battery off and test it. I think I’ll Bring it to them with 5% charge so they can spend nine hours charging it up! ? ill have a loaner from them.
Ford is taking in the truck Thursday and giving me a 25 ford edge for a loaner. Which is fine, any loaner is fine as long as it’s free. We’ll see what happens.
Why would they allow for 9 complete battery replacements, the rest are repaired.
At least if we could get it in for an inspection and know if it’s clear or needs repair. If it needs repair, give us a fully functioning loaner until.
Getting really tired of limiting charge to 80% and charging outside. Want the full capacity of my truck back. One that won’t burn my house down while sleeping.
Yeah, I think some kind of compensation is in order. With 80% charge in cold winter, our range is only 80-90 miles! It’s forcing us to use our ICE way more. Luckily gas if pretty reasonable right now. Plus I don’t like leaving my new truck outside all night for fear it may catch fire. All this...
I have one of the 950 recalled. Limiting charge to 80% stinks. Plus I am not comfortable charging it inside my garage anymore. Unfortunately my wall charger will not reach out to the driveway. I am in talks with ford about sending or reimbursing me for a j1772 extension cable.
We will see how...
