So, the dates pushed out on one tracker by two weeks and one week on the other one. I think these things are on autopilot and I will stop fussing over tracking until my dealer calls and it's ready to pick up.
My future truck has been parked in a lot 11 miles from my dealership for 20 days now.
This morning, I asked Ford Chat if the stop ship order has been lifted on my truck and they told me it has not.
This is definitely a patience builder.
Here is my dumbest wild-ass guess: someone forgot to manually install a fastener on something like a DC-in bus bar which is could be a rare safety issue the BMS can't self-identify. Ford is trying to figure out how many packs might have successfully DC fast charged after assembly without...
Is your voltage at the EVSE close to 240 just like when used with the Tesla? I get 8.9 instead of 9.6 due to a longish run and being farthest from the transformer on my street
Edit: to clarify this is with other EVs that may report total input power
There were at least three Lariats (or XLT high) and a Platinum among the dozen or so Lightnings in the yard so it doesn't seem to be just Pros held there. I'm guessing vehicles that shipped over-the-road before the stop ship were still trickling in this week.
The way I read this is that any F150 Lightning not already at the dealer is stuck in purgatory until the scope of the issue is determined/issue is resolved
Mine is also in San Diego, presumably the same yard as yours (Ramp 5A San Diego). It left the rail yesterday and I still have my ETA of 2/10 to 2/16. Where's yours headed? Mine's going to KM Ford.
With all the excitement, I checked my railcar heading to socal and it updated overnight from "train departure" to "placed at industry" which I believe means it's at the receiving ramp or will soon be there. I hope everyone's deliveries go smoothly.
I also hesitate to say it's impossible. Here's a photo from my 60kWh Bolt EV driving extremely gingerly - 190% of EPA range.
3.6 is only 150% of EPA range for an SR Pro. I don't have my truck yet but consider this "challenge accepted".
The price protection gives you the price you ordered it at on 11/15. Private offer is for reservations that were invited to configure for 2022 but had to be converted to 2023 model year with the pursuant price increase.
For ideal efficiency we could use no Regen and no brake use at neighborhood speeds. In the real world, adding speed, regen (it's always less than 100% recuperation) hard acceleration (tire scrub & resistive losses) and of course brake pad use all hurt efficiency. So, on the highway, 1 pedal is...
