You can just leave the truck running, BUT, you have to turn off the 30 minute count down timer EVERY time. It won't stay off just by setting it once.

I had the truck still thinking it was towing, too. I had to plug the trailer in again, then unplug it while the truck was running. That reset it.

My BFG A/T 2 's have been on since early December, and are doing very well in Wisconsin snow. On ice they'll slide, but so does everything. But more importantly, they are WAY better on wet pavement than the stock tires were.
