She’s in my driveway!!! Pictures to come later. But the short of the story, she’s a fully glitched pro order. I had to pay the sticker price, but I have all of promises in the world from the dealership that the price protection will be submitted.
My truck made it to the dealership today. I’m going down there tomorrow to finish the deal (?). Interestingly, the price where you can finish your purchase shows the original, pre-October price. It lists that amount as the “Dealer Selling Price.” The window sticker is unfortunately $13k higher.
It’s so weird how it works. At 374, I was only 67 trucks ahead of you. Same trim and similar options. Just don’t get how yours is still sitting there.
Status on Ford’s website still says “Shipped.” Checked with my salesman and he shows the truck sitting in Miami, Ramp 21. Guessing that’s at a railyard. Truck is only 15 miles or so from the dealer. Should be here soon.
No email but I logged in to find that I have been updated and to “built” status. I also have a new estimated delivery date of 6/12 - 6/18. Hopefully there are no more hiccups.
Well, I was able to get in contact with an ambassador. They are operating on the last time the system was updated, 05/04. They could confirm my truck was produced, but could not say how or if my truck has been delayed.
Maybe it’s a generic email sent to everyone who is scheduled for production...
I’m optimistic, but it sounds like a stretch. My sticker says “Convoy,” so I was under the impression it would be trucked down here.
The ambassador did say he would schedule a virtual walk through of my truck after delivery, 5/31.
Ambassador contacted me today. Told me that my dealership should receive my truck between 5/24 - 5/30. Does anyone know if ambassador predictions are accurate?
