I have the Cobra SC400D+IR Internal. Previously posted the video of the BlueCruise scanning showing up on the IR video. Seeing it initially on the screen it looked awful. Once it was playing on my computer instead of the dashcam monitor, it looks fine...
Looked at mine again on infrared camera, but the BlueCruise scanner is not on....it is currently on the charger. I certainly see it on my dashcam when it is on. Weird that it would be on while turned off.
The cover is a bit tricky. After SunRun folks installed, it fell off a couple of times. Once I noticed that the stronger connecting points are more on the inner area around the inset black where the holster and lights are, it hasn't been a problem.

Works, yes. It has been hot lately and the FCSP was faulting due to overheating. I scaled it back from 80A to 48A in the app and have not had an overheat alert since. The lights pulse blue with solid amber indicating the reduced rate.
I had to complete a factory reset of the FCSP a couple of times to get it to connect to Ford Pass using the Charge Station Pro Installation app. The Siemens and Ford folks helped. The big take-away was to 'reset' and wait 3-5 minutes after the white reset light turns blue. Once connected to...
On my unit, the label on top lists the Station ID as the serial number. I had folks asking me the same and I ended up telling them and sent a picture of the label that CLEARLY says "SERIAL #: XXX12XXX"

I did not...I will be getting the ESP from Flood Ford online. Same coverage at much less than your dealership can offer. ESP is not for everyone, but if it is, get it online at Flood or Ziegler....I am sure there may be more.

I went with an inside install due to the exposure issues. The garage door closes with the cord under the rubber seal. I have thought about fabricating a cord hanger just outside of the garage.
I had a similar experience and was finally able to get my one charging location saved after numerous attempts. I have not tried my preferred charging limits, yet. Same message "FordPass is unavailable, please try again later".
I am also having issues with the app not recognizing the Ford...
