I don't understand it as it goes against what little I know about physics, but I will take this as a learning point and hopefully will understand it one day.
I feel like a UFO witness now, I swear it was 6.3.0, but looking back through my photos, I only have a photo of the re-release of 6.2.0, NAT-VCE. So I'll chalk this up to being old lol.
Is there any way to view your complete update history?
Same here, just got it this past weekend, got 6.3.0 a few days before that and 6.2.0 on the 11th. I guess you really need to turn on the scheduled updates for it to really do anything? Had mine for two months and nothing, finally turned on 1am scheduled updates and got 3 updates in less than 2...
Can you explain this? I've always been under the impression that signals (rf, electricity, light etc..) in phase are additive ie constructive interference, and signals that are 180 degrees out of phase are destructive. So if the two outlets were 180 out, I could understand a zero voltage, but if...
I'm definitely not taking off my badging. I kinda think it would be cool if it was illuminated. Paid enough money for the truck, I demand recognition. :p
Would you consider it safe enough though for a one-time drive to a tire shop, say 30-40 miles tops? Or is it really that big of a deal that you should have it towed instead? I know there's people that will drive weeks on a spare, so I'm curious how quickly this (dissimilar spare size) would have...
Regarding interior colors, the dealer mentioned to me when I picked up my Lightning that you can actually get any interior color if you ask. I believe he said it was $1,000 extra, but that's not terrible. I had no idea that Ford did that.
Personally I hate the feel of the Lightning shifter. I wish it would "snap" into reverse, but whenever I go from drive to reverse it always wants to "snap" into neutral instead of reverse. Such a pain.
I think what Maxx is trying to say is that at a certain point if the delta between the speed of a single vehicle and the average traffic speed is too great then the slower vehicle is more of a danger than the vehicles driving 15, 20 etc... over the speed limit. I don't think Maxx is implying we...
That's what I thought too, but I didn't see any of the charging related stuff in fordpass-ha. I set it up and looked at the data from my truck and it's exactly what's listed on the Github page, and nothing more. Not sure where any of that other data in the charts came from, which is why I had...
I understand how OSINT works and all that jazz, I spent my last 10 years in the military in an intel field.
What I'm saying is there's a lot of speculation, but nobody has posted any sources for information about what information Ford is actually *selling* as they may collect a ton of...
People keep saying it containers certain data to include the VIN number, but I have not seen any source for this information. I don't doubt the the VIN number is sent to ford with the rest of the info is collected as it's useful information to Ford to spot production issues. But I seriously...
Like you said, there's lots of unknowns. It's all just speculation at this point. We can all just hope that Ford will use this tragedy to improve their system to prevent this from happening in the future. Very curious to see what the NTSB and Ford have to say about this incident in the future.
This isn't a radar issue, radar is perfectly capable of detecting stationary objects.
The issue is with how vehicle manufacturers process the data from the various sensors, ie short and long range radar as well as cameras, to determine what is relevant information and what is noise. On a side...
Oh that's pretty cool. I'll have to look into that home assistant app.
Also a bit alarming that all of that data is available from Ford with data sharing disabled. Makes you wonder what the switch actually does?
The home assistant app is pulling that info from the home assistant database. It might pull some data from your Ford account, but I would guess the bulk of that data is coming from the charger and not from Ford's cloud...
