We saw at least 2 F150L working vehicles in Yosemite Valley last month. Both were white and one was a Lariat. Most likely owned or leased by the concessionaire, Aramark. Also, there were 10x as many L2’s in the Valley as last year and all were Rivian branded, and free, I believe.
I think you are trying to apply logic to a situation that has no logic at all. Frustrating at best. The more you want clarity, the more distressed you will become. I’m not an old timer on this forum, but having gone through the online buying experience in mid 2023, none of this sounds much...
Mine does this all the time. Sometimes works like a charm (probably less than 50% of the time). Sometimes works only after running boards have retracted and then get redeployed. No rhyme nor reason of why it works sometimes and not others that I can ascertain.
I frequently, if not mostly, get 178/179 kw for the first 10-15 min. at 350 kw EA chargers then it slowly drops to 120 as it approaches 80% SOC. Maybe the numbers in the FAQs refer to average charging speed over the entire course of the charge instead of a max rate of charge.
