Today is the start of my estimated delivery window of 9/27 - 10/2 given to me by Ford chat. I no longer have access to ETA for delivery in my ford.com account because the dealership changed ownership.
I finally got in touch with a loan officer at Parsons. Needed 2 most current paystubs, proof that I currently have insurance and the purchase agreement which I can't send until the paperwork is done at the dealer. The rate I got was 2.79% for 72 months.
Chat told me yesterday they don't see any rail car number. All they have is that it's at Ramp 5M in New Boston, MI. They said the ETA for delivery is 9/27-10/2. So that hasn't changed. No email with pic either.
Checked in with Ford chat and mine is in chip hold as I assumed since it hasn't moved out of In Production status. They said ETA to dealer is 9/28 - 10/3 which I don't think may happen.
I'm assuming I'm on a chip hold. Otherwise it should have gone to built. Last time I asked via chat, the spray in liner was completed and it was at Ramp 51.
I got an email that my order's dealership was sold as is under new management and they will be refunding my deposit though it won't affect my reservation. No idea what all that means. And it's no longer in my ford.com account, only a message that the dealership currently doesn't take online...
I was sat and waited on the chat, when I started it was 44 people. This is the info I received, though the status page still says In Production. I have factory spray in liner. So doesn't look like I'm on a chip hold....maybe.
It looks like your vehicle was received by Ramp 51, the body company...
