Does this matter? Mine shows as sold and SunRun has my information, but says it’s not “confirmed”. They said it will not ship until confirmed. Does the confirmation have to do with financing? Thanks!
...and they confirmed that today on their backend system they can see a warranty start date, and the ESP shows as active instead of pending.
So at least part of their systems have updated. The ford.com site still doesn't know I'm the owner yet. I'm gonna call Sunrun today and see if they can tell.
...for me.
I've owned my truck for almost a month and 2,000 miles and my truck still hadn't been reported as "sold" to Ford yet. Can't get my Sunrun charger, can't get my Ford ESP I purchased applied, and I'm getting a little annoyed. Ford.com still shows no warranty start date etc.
Anyways...
The limitation is in the inverter external to the truck.
Just because you have a 200A service it doesn’t mean you use it.
I’m using the ProPower for backup which is only 7.2 KW and I will be powering virtually everything except my pool, A/C, and sauna.
200A service capacity doesn't mean much. Your actual consumption is likely much lower. Typical home base usage is <5A. You should take an inventory of the load requirements in your house for a more meaningful analysis. Also, it's typical to limit usage of large loads in some way when on...
They installed a 50 amp sub-panel and a moved our critical loads to it for the backup source. But our (new) house is so efficient that in once we move over to a smart panel with priority load shedding technology we will be able to have all circuits backed up. Because we have an air source heat...
The HIS system, runs off the 300-400v DC feeder from the truck the HIS inverter is limited to the maximum current flow 30-40 amps, it definitely can't support your houses continues max load if you have a lot of high energy appliances

The Pro Power...
...Ford offered as part of the vehicle purchase. It shouldn't have required a lawsuit to enforce the Monroney law. Distributing the FCSPs was inconsistent and botched by supply chain problems, Ford, and their chosen partner, Sunrun. I'd be interested in the circumstances that led to legal action.
...(or the sume thereof) and no more. My present house has a 200amp service so the truck could power 20% of the house - NOT the whole house. I feel the Sunrun site is misleading as it says it will power your house. Yes, some lights and a coffee pot but... wish I had understood this months ago..
...costly bad joke for the early adopter crowd. Most of the early adopter crowd already have solar and are not going to rip it out for the Delta/Sunrun device. Sunrun’s support and response to information requests is also giving Ford a Black Eye. Enphase and SolarEdge are ready to go with the...
The problem is the proprietary signaling required for the truck to output HVDC. Ford has crippled a potentially very useful feature for reasons that are not clear.
If seamless means fully automated then it's doubtful. Also, not sure what the expectation is for such setup in terms of vendor support, but it would not be surprising if neither Ford/SunRun or Tesla would provide support if things don't work.
...I think I may have done a poor job explaining what I'm looking to do.
I will purchase: Lightening, solar system, couple power walls, sunrun/ford Home Integration System (HIS)
I understand with the HIS, the truck will power the house if the grid goes down.
My dream is that on a sunny day...
...You can then set up the truck on your current (now sub-) panel and coordinate with your solar system so that it switches to the truck at a particular state of charge. This fortunately is the type of stuff that Sunrun does so I would imagine that their equipment could handle the coordination.
We have solar with PoweWall and the Ford/SunRun home integration system. The Tesla PowerWall system has a backup panel with limited circuits. Because we have an older heat pump it won’t power that on. I understand you can now get soft start heat pumps that could work at startup. The Tesla system...
Switch off your main breaker when you want to run from the Lightning is the simplest.
BTW, Welcome to the forum, spend some time reading the various threads about the HIS, it's been a struggle for several members to get it operating properly.
I'm fine with purchasing the Ford/Sunrun Home Integration System. The glitch is that is seems to kick in only when the grid fails. I want it to power house when grid is on. Trying to avoid pulling from grid - ever - if possible. ??? Can truck power house with grid on ?????? Maybe I need to...
...in the wild this weekend (Chester, VT). Drove home and cancelled my reservation.
I don't think there is currently a way, without the Ford/Sunrun setup, to tap the DC power and tie it to the house feed, but I imagine that is mostly a software limitation (and the right inverter choice). I...
