You can get forscan for free just need the extended license. I do pay their asked $12 though

I just did exactly what you’re pursuing. I ran everything available update wise in FDRS. Truck was stuck at 3.5.4 for months. I did pay for a 30 day subscription and plan to re-check at the last day. 2ga fit without issue. Torquing can be a little interesting as it seems the lugs are attached overly securely. Rechecked torque after a month or so and no movement.

Mines inside. 60ft run of 2ga copper wire with 6ga earth. Runs great. Never an issue here

It is possible to view the current state of charge percentage of the lvb with forscan or fdrs? I see available programs to run in fdrs for the battery module. Any recommendations would be appreciated. TIA
