I understand that. And that decision allowed Ford to scoop them. Ford also has their "ground up" version planned for 2025 release. Ford simply got the jump on them.
They never officially released a number but my understanding was that the 15k number that was leaked was for CY22 not MY22. If they continue at 2,000/month they'll hit 15k on the nose for 2022.
I have a day 1 reservation for the SEV, by the time I can buy one I might actually be ready for a new vehicle! I still don't understand why the reservation is only WT/RST. I'm not likely to buy either of those trims. Are the mid-level trims going to be even later than 2025? Ford really...
I don't understand the "one time charge limit", when i set it it stays set until I cancel it. I set it to 85% on Monday and I'm charging for the third time now. It's still set and my target charge level says 85%. I charged twice at work and now I'm charging at home.
Mine is saying 192 miles at 75% this morning. That would extrapolate to 256 at 100%. I think its typically been estimating 290ish at 100%. Considering the drop in temps in the recent 1-2 weeks, I think 256 is pretty reasonable. Mind you, I've been getting more like 300-330 based on mi/kWh...
It’s been in the 40s in the morning here and my efficiency has definitely dropped a bit but I haven’t paid too close attention the actual numbers. I think 10% is probably in the ballpark.
I think the problem is that you’re assuming the GOM is giving you the actual range. What you’re seeing is a problem with Ford’s calculations not the actual battery capacity.
No, i was just answering the question of how fast i drive on the highway. I mostly drive as fast as traffic allows. Sometimes it’s 80, sometimes it’s 60. On longer trips outside of my normal driving area i cruise at 75-80. I have no idea what my average highway speed is, definitely less than...
i’ve used the one time limit on public AC charging as well. I set the max to 80% when i charge at work. It’s worked for me. Could be a public vs private thing? I don’t know, I haven’t tried to set the limit at home. I don’t have any “locations” set up.
I’ve been keeping my “lifetime” stats on the Trip 2 trip meter. Right now i’m at 2.4mi/kwh for 4,100 miles. That’s with probably 75% highway miles.
