Thanks, that's what I figured. I bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered a new CCM as I'm pretty sure my bargain one is toast. So hopefully will have it by the weekend to play around with. After playing with it today, I thought it would work as an IPMA code meaning stating a short with the CCM...
My wires are populated all the way out to the CCM connector, as I'm getting 12V power and both CAN+/- voltage like I said at the C1897 connector. And like you said if these wires go straight to the IPMA, there shouldn't be anything else feeding those voltages that I'm aware of from another...
@Jesse-Infotainment update on my progress thus far, unfortunately haven't had as good of luck adding ACC as you did so far. Got the CCM mounted and plugged in this weekend, that was actually really easy on my truck as like I found before, all the wiring was there from the bumper harness...
If you rear window rattles, which seems they all do, check out this thread. We've found some solutions to remedy it for now. Ford even has a service document on it as its a known issue and is still trying to find a solution, but it's pretty much due to how the window track was assembled and has...
I sent my logs to Forscan last night and they sent me back a test version early this morning, tried it out this evening, and boom! That did the trick and can successfully write to the HVAC now finally. They sent me a test version of 2.3.47 so I imagine the updates should come out with the...
Gave this a try today and still no go... I already had auto increase on and my min delay was actually already running at 1 ms without changing anything, actually went up to 2 ms when I changed the COM port settings.
So no idea what the deal is really, think the next thing is to send logs to...
I'm heavily looking into doing the exact same so curious how it turns out for you and compares to the B&O sub. If I go this route, I plan to try and install it behind the back seat after removing the factory sub plus some insulation if needed. I had a custom box I made to fit back here on my...
@Jesse-Infotainment is there anything special you need to do for the PMI for the CCM? Sounds like the only values stored in it is the VIN. My plan was to just program my VIN into my CCM for forscan and hopefully that's all I need.
Got my new-to-me bumper the other day so going to try some...
Ya, hopefully it'll be that simple, but not holding my breath quite yet.
I'm really curious now if I do have those front sensors or not. Luckily you seconded the fact that they don't appear to be needed for ACC or centering. I bet the plugs are there since I have a lariat spec, but sensors, no...
I'm in the same boat with my Job1 21 as well, I can't program HVAC at all. Have tried different versions of Forscan and am running a LinkEX as well now and still nothing.
Yes, you got it right when it comes to their naming of different parts, some make sense, and some don't at all, makes it fun trying to find and lookup stuff. These bliss sensors are actually just found under "Sensor" and both the rear and front you're talking about are under the same tree group...
Gotcha, thanks for the clarification, and yep, sure as shit just found this now looking around.
Hopefully since its labeled as Parking Distance Control, it's only for parking assist it has nothing to do with ACC or lane centering. I came to the same conclusion doing the same looking around...
No worries! Jeez, must really not want to be there if you're on here instead
Awesome thanks, also curious on the front bumper sensors you added as well. All I've ever seen is the 6 parking style sensors on the front bumper and that's it, so maybe we're confusing the same thing for...
No, I hit a deer, so that's why I need a new bumper lol. Yes, I know the 4 or 6 front parking sensors aren't for ACC at all so that's why I wasn't worried about adding them at all. I wasn't aware of the two front bliss sensors you mention however so hopefully that doesn't hurt my chances, but...
