I've been able to access my truck through FordPass since 7/6. So it's been "built" for 6 weeks, but I didn't get the "built" email until 7/16. It shipped on 7/28 and has been 75 miles away in Jacksonville since 8/6. I watched the train it was on go by my house that morning.
You're right. $7k for full vehicle. ?? ?
If you were to only get the full frontal PPF, would you ceramic coat the rest of the truck? (I guess assuming it wasn't matte PPF?)
Do you have comprehensive/collission insurance coverage for PPF? Do you list as an add-on accessory?
I've never had PPF or ceramic coatings on any of my vehicles, so this is all new to me. I was quoted $1,650 (without grill), $1,750 (with grill) for Kavaca Ceramic Coated PPF from Ceramic Pro in Jacksonville. They also said they could ceramic coat clear PPF for $1,600 (2 yr warranty)/$2,000 (5...
Three, oh, is a magic number
Yes it is, it's a magic number
Somewhere in that ancient mystic trinity
You'll get three
As a magic number
The past, the present, the future
Faith and hope and charity
The heart, the brain, the body
Will give you three
It's a magic number
It takes three...
Your experience makes me anxious that I'll be waiting a while longer. Mine arrived at a flat yard 20 miles from the auto ramp outside of Jax on 8/6. On 8/9 it was moved to the auto ramp, and unloaded from the autorack on 8/10 (I received a Securialert notification, "Driver Door Opened")...
I’ve had FordPass activated for a month, and while my Lightning still hasn’t been delivered, it did come within a half-mile of my house this morning. ?
TL;DR
If you purchase a service and maintenance plan together, Anderson & Koch will be slightly cheaper than Flood (or anyone else I've found). The plans I'm purchasing are $4,630 from A&K vs. $4,765 from Flood.

Anderson & Koch prices are the same as...
I emailed this to the dealer and received this response, "I pulled through smart vincent which came up with nothing and from what I have been told by Ford that D&D is the one thing that isnt price protected."
Is anyone’s dealer honoring the $1,695 Destination & Delivery charge that was shown at the time we placed our orders? Window stickers show $1,795 while the dealer selling price in my ford.com account still shows $1,695.
This sounds similar to what's happened to me. FordPass access was accepted on July 6, when the truck was parked in the lot of Roush Building 9. On July 8 it was moved to a lot near the Dearborn Proving Grounds and fully charged. Then on July 10 it was moved to a lot near Ford HQ.
The location...
Someone was nice enough to accept my activation request this morning. My truck is 6 miles from the REVC in the parking lot of Roush building 9. For anyone who’s taken delivery, did your truck take this same trip? Just trying to get an idea of how close it is to shipping out.
