I come up to Dover-Foxcroft every year and have been slowly paying attention to the charging environment since it seems pretty barren; was hoping not to read that those Kennebunk service plaza chargers were non-op but I think it may be safer just taking the other car up until they at least get...
My original plan was Atlas Blue or Red, but I'm a sucker for random colors when given the option. The build and price preview of the color gave it a dark gray with a tinge of blue so I was a little worried what it would actually look like.
Meanwhile the rest of us are paying the $6,800 increase in price on the XLT which brings it to $20k more than the PRO that I had agreed (to myself) to buy.
I'd say $65,500 for a just-above-base-model XLT Lightning is pretty obnoxious. But hey, at least for now we may actually get heated seats...
I mean I did it in my Bolt and for that particular car, running the heat on my commute made a big change. Without HVAC running it went back up to my average in the coldest part of winter ?♂️
Additionally if he is up in Saskatchewan I would say anything would help in limiting the range. There...
I mean...this kind of solves the issue of range degradation in the winter months, while sipping on the fuel and giving you close to normal battery range, no?
Buying a Powerboost would only benefit OP in the winter and come Spring/Summer/Fall would be back to paying an arm and a leg to fuel it.
Ahh forgot the 3 year extension, saw 2020 and thought that was the hard cut-off.
Still working on Win10 replacements myself, replaced about 200 two years ago only to need to replace them again after we switched to VMWare/WorkspaceONE management. :cautious:
I know they usually have a bit longer EOL on the POSReady/Embedded systems but uh....that's a bit old and seems to be a few years past end of life. Don't they have a credit card reader at the charger? Seems a little...non compliant.
I may go that route still with my XLT, but want to see how "base model" the cloth feels before I do that. Definitely happy they included heated seats across the board now so may make things a little easier on the wallet...or if it is close to the seats in my Frontier I may not even need to lol...
When I was shopping Katzkin a month or so ago it seemed checking the box for the cooled seats is what made it pricey, otherwise someone else recently did the PRO Katzkin treatment with just heat and it was like $1300 installed or something close to it.
Got the email earlier that I am scheduled for 11/28. A few months earlier than planned; guess I'll have to get this Suburban cleaned up and flipped sooner than later.
Now if only we can get true, in-person pics of Azure Grey Metallic not from random spy shots because I've seen dark blue to robin egg blue and not sure I'm sold on it even though it's been ordered :D
I wouldn't expect the gauges to read much outside of normal even during the first start after an overnight rest due to the Battery Management System and the coolant loops.
The initial price jump put me in the same thought for the most part.
I had wanted a PRO and was going to go up to $44k with options, and then started contemplating maybe jumping into an XLT depending on the price difference.
...and then the increase happened, on top of the PRO not being...
Drawing a blank but was it just the PRO that got the increase in price or did they do a small jump on the other trims as well? Ordered an XLT on 9/7 but even that was stretching it for me.
