I don't know why I care if it shows or not...I change the oil every 5000 miles any way.

I have noticed that since I set up my 2021 (in place of 2017) that the oil life percentage no longer shows in the app. Is anyone noticing this?

I think you have to go to the dealer for the update. From what I read after the update you can use the sensors or the stickers???

On the F150 the sensor is for conventional bumper trailers. You can use stickers, but you will have to get the software updated in the truck.

The manual says only conventional bumper trailers.

When the weather clears up I will play with it. You have to update the software in the truck to use the stickers???

I have had both. My 2017 Lariat had an Amp Reasearch bumper mounded step. It worked great, no issues getting in and out of bed. My 2021 has a built in step. It is very nice and really easy access t the bed. They both work great.

I have a 2021 F150 King Ranch with max tow. It came with a sensor and a cable. The sensor mounts on the frame of the trailer and connects to the truck. From what I have read (i have not tried it) once the sensor is connected and you perform a few maneuvers the truck will figure out the length...
