Nope, fake news. They do work, I have done it several times on my 23 XLT. Found the hack on YouTube. The weights work if you place them at the 5 o'clock position on the bottom right of the wheel. True story bruh.
I wish I could have bought an XLT ER or Flash ER, but the price was awesome on a 2023 XLT SR, I bought a 63k truck for 53k, so I settled for the smaller screen, and SR, but the payment was just not good enough on an XLT ER. I just have to charge more often on longer trips, so I would recommend...
Yup, that is what I read, regarding the powertrain. Very cool in my opinion. I also read that it got 989 miles of range, but perhaps that was a generous expectation by dodge. Either way 700 miles of range is dope and that is way more range than any of the other domestic EV carmakers rn.
I read that article about the chevy, and that is awesome. Also the ramcharger erev is going to be able to get 1000 miles on a charge and uses a generator to keep the battery running. Anything under 50 miles is just battery, so short trips are all battery and beyond that it is a small gas...
Didn't have any of those issues. But battery module 1 & 2 took a dump when I was up North and had to drive 150 miles on 66% power, and 90% SOC. This happened with only 9,000 miles on it, a known issue with 2023 SR XLT models. Dealership had it for 2 weeks but gave me a brand new ICE 2025 XLT...
Looking sharp! I did mine and my ws too. It looks dope. Next I am putting in a train-horn (motohorn). I had one on my ICE F-150, and I sure miss making ppl jump when they cut me off.
Cool! Thank you for the breakdown. I long for the day when these trucks get over 500 miles per charge with a camper or boat in tow. Hopefully very soon. Thank you for the breakdown and range info. I luv my truck I just wish it had a bit more range, like 400-500 miles, with cargo.
You were able to get 270 miles of range from a PRO SR & pulling a trailer? I thought the SR battery only provided about 240 miles of range with a normal load.
How many miles can you actually get out of an SR battery under normal conditions? Has anyone pushed the limits of driving with zero percent battery range and how low does the power level get at this condition?
