I live in Alabama I feel your pain. Not only do we get the tsg fee, but our state charging infrastructure or lack therof is horrible. I’m glad I charge exclusively at home.
My FordPass has been inop since Feb 14.
Reset fuse 32 last night, drove truck today and it updated while I was in the store shopping.
Hopefully this is the end of my Ford Pass woes.
Had my service appointment cancelled for tsb23-2050 by the dealer this week.
Yes, it renders controlling the truck through the app worthless. Truck still drives fine, but you lose a lot of convenience features. Remote start, charge settings ( can also be set in the physical truck) etc. First world problems, but it is annoying when you pay this much for a vehicle and...
I wonder if this is more involved with the 12V charging issues similar to the other f150s. The ICE forums are littered with lot of power up software issues stemming from the 12v having too low a charge to accept the OTA download.
My Ford Pass has been out since Feb 14. I have not reset the 12v...
I'm curious to see what the Nokian's look like on a Lightning.
I had Toyo AT3s on my F150 hybrid this year..pretty much as close to stock weight as I could find. I was very happy with the tire. It's listed as a 115T though..I had sport 20" rims on that truck. I don't see a 116 rating for my...
I just started noticing the click on my 23 occasionally. I’m already scheduled for the ford pass tsb in a few weeks. I wonder if they can knock out both jobs on the same visit?
I'm in 100 agreement. I knew this was a gamble vs getting a Tesla (yes I know completely different vehicles). It is disappointing that now those of us with the Ford Pass issues are having to wait until June. Totally unsat. The truck itself is fantastic, but Ford has a long ways to go in the...
I think the OTA threshold is 90% on 12v.. change it to 70% or so. They can also set the 12v to charge more often from the HVB. It’s nothing cosmic according to some Ford-engineers I’ve chatted with. They are aware of the issues as well as poor quality 12v batteries Ford sourced.
Surprisingly , there are a lot of 12V battery issues. Ford had a bad batch on the ICE trucks. I have a feeling they used the same cheap vendor for the Lightning batteries. It amazes me we drive an electric truck, and it isn't set to charge the 12V more than it does? It shouldn't matter if...
I had it 2 weeks after delivery, but at 64% and when pulling up the drivetrain page, it showed the front motor wasn't delivering power. After driving like that for 30 minutes, it went away on next startup. Glitch for sure. It has not happened since.
I guess this just came out. I suppose I’ll cancel my service appt in a few weeks for TSB23-2050? It must not be solving the issue. My ford pass worked great up until 4.1.1 power up .
June is a long time to be dealing with these shenanigans.
One of my bigger pet peeves with the truck. Ford cheaped out using basically the same design as the ICE versions. Issue is EV owners utilized the door WAY more than ICE… multiple times a day etc
I have no faith that the charge port door won’t break at some point.
