I've been monitoring my LVB charge daily for a week now. I've been trying every suggested trick to get it to 100% SOC, hoping that will help me finally get an OTA update after over a year. I did get the update for "improved communications" a few weeks ago, and about a week ago I got the...
Even Ford can't seem to figure out what to recommend. From their website,
If you click on "Battery Life Tips and Tricks", it takes you to a page where that topic is nowhere to be found. If you search their site for the topic, you get this,
Selecting either of the first 2 topics takes you...
Thanks. I've tried several different time windows. Figured I'd try a time that others are probably not using, hoping the server bandwidth is more available. In my case, being retired and doing most of my trips in the AM, I'm usually not driving in the afternoon anyway.
Finally! Five days shy of my 1 year anniversary, I finally received an OTA update! Hopefully this breaks the logjam and I start getting many of the others mentioned on this site.
Agreed, ridiculous! I've never had an update and I'm at 355 days since purchasing the truck. I would have to work very hard to meet the requirements above. One of these days I'll just take it to the dealer so they can force it.
I've owned several vehicles with moonroofs. All of them, including my 2011 F-150, would allow me to slightly open the roof and close the shade except for the last inch or so. When parked on a hot day, this allowed some of the heat buildup to vent out the roof while keeping the interior mostly...
This may be a dumb question, but if you've never received an OTA update, and therefore never received a notice with version numbers, how do you know what version you are on? I haven't found it.
Like everyone else, currently getting bizarre readings of my data from FordPass. Which has created another problem for me.
I normally have my charging schedule set to charge between midnight and 10 AM. But today I need to add some energy before going out late afternoon. I can't seem to get...
Every once in a while I think this has happened to me (although I have yet to get an OTA), and I realize that for some reason my profile has been changed to "Guest" instead of my personal setup. Check that first.
That makes sense until I start seeing all the posts about not receiving an OTA update unless it is at or close to 100%, given I have yet to get one since last July.
Any insights into what would be "normal" for these charge level readings? Since my BMS sensor replacement I've seen numbers that range from a high of 94% to a current low of 80%, most of the time in the low 90s. The 94% was after a full day of driving several hundred miles. I would have expected...
I discovered something this morning. If I select the "This Trip" screen, it stays through a power cycle, not reverting to the Calm Screen. So it appears that the bug (I believe it is) is related to either the Driver Assistance screen or some combination of the screens I've selected to display...
Saw this displayed on mine for the first time yesterday. Showed 90%. Today I drove about 150 miles. Expected it to be higher. Now showing 89%. (FWIW, as stated in another thread, had BMS Sensor Replacement done per CSP last week)
FWIW, I'm one of many who have never received an OTA update. I just had the BMS module replaced last Wednesday. Dealer did some additional FDRS updates that are supposed to update the Gateway module and resolve my OTA issues. They said I should now start getting them "soon". We'll see...
My truck went into hibernation about the time that this thread started. Now that it's awakened from it's sleep, I'm seeing the same problem. Before hibernation, I could set it to the "Driver Assistance" screen and it would stay there. Now every time I stop the truck and restart, it's back to...
