  1. Fender Badges - anyone changed theirs?

yes, I’ve removed decals from every truck I’ve owned. Use a little heat and it will come off easily. I always do it when the truck is new. If you have a dark color and wait a few years it may leave a shadow that needs to be worked out.
  2. 2021 F150 Forscan

I don’t think you can rewrite any algorithms, it simply lets you select from the various options from each module. It does so in hex code but the newer versions use a front end in plain English to make it easier to use. For instance, you can change the country code in the gps to a country that...
  3. Cordless impact wrench for light home use?

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up getting the Dewalt 20v high torque model. That Milwaukee Fuel is rated the best, but I figured I can use the Dewalt batteries on my drill and saw as well. Thanks again.
  4. Cordless impact wrench for light home use?

yea, I’ve never bought Milwaukee but the reviewers online seem to like them a lot.
  5. Cordless impact wrench for light home use?

Yea, I do have a 20v dewalt drill, I’m sure the 20v Max batteries would work but would probably go up to a larger one on the impact (4ah) or so.
  6. Cordless impact wrench for light home use?

I’m looking for a good all around battery operated impact wrench for light home use. I’ve borrowed my neighbor’s for the last time last week doing my brakes lol. Anyone have a preference? Mid torque (350ish) or high (750ish)? I’ve been looking at mostly dewalt and Milwaukee fuel, but open to...
  7. Changing the Lariat Sport Brown Accents

I feel the same. Those colors pretty much have me waiting on the tremor. I don’t need the off-road capabilities necessarily, but I like the interior, exhaust, grille, etc. As far as fixing the lariat, door panels do usually come apart, but they are usually plastic welded together. Like when...
  8. What are you driving in the mean time?

    2013 crew fx4 2014 tremor daily driver, 2010 Volvo C30
  9. Sticker / decal / badge removal

lol, I get it. I’m very picky about my mods and do lots of research first. I did replace my U-bolts/nuts just because Ford always recommends it (prob based on the torque value applied). But this is the easiest way to get near level, and easiest to reverse if you don’t like it.
  10. Sticker / decal / badge removal

Yes, about the same as anything that would lower the bed about an inch. I didn’t notice any change on my FX4 after the mod except my truck looked better, lol. I also didn’t change the shocks on my tremor that has 2.5 inch lowering shackles, and it actually handles noticeably better.
  11. Sticker / decal / badge removal

Bob’s doesn’t have the anemic spring pack, lol. I think those are just on trucks with the least towing package (I’m guessing). Bob’s has the normal 3 spring pack. Either way, lots of guys will probably do it. Wait a month or two and there will be a lot more info.
  12. Sticker / decal / badge removal

They are just sandwiched in there. I have only seen 1 or 2 out of hundreds online that had some vibration, but the ones I saw were single cabs/short beds (shorter non-split drive shafts). However, they do make angled shims for the vibration, but again I’ve not seen issues on crew/long bed/extra...
  13. Replicating Lariat Sport Package Exterior

The reddish brown on the sport made up my mind to wait on the tremor. The dash and console looks easy to change, but they added to the door panels too, ugggh. My idea of off roading is a dirt road, but the tremor looks like what I want (interior, running boards, exhaust, grille, etc.)
  14. Can I tint headlight/taillight housings?

All factory lenses have always been clear, just the housing underneath was blacked out. On my old 2009, I put mine in the oven so that I could take the light apart, paint the housing inside black, then seal them back up. lol. The hours of labor I’ve spent between lights and painting badges etc...
  15. Sticker / decal / badge removal

That color looks great. Those three stage colors always look good in the sun. You can remove this block, it won’t get you even but will drop the back a little. Never heard of anything detrimental from removing those since it’s only on 4x4s, and doesn’t change anything enough to effect driveline...
  16. Sticker / decal / badge removal

Looks great! I cut my ā€˜14 tailpipe yesterday and installed a turndown tip based off your other posts. I’ve never thought of that, but it’s genius.
  17. Nano ceramic window tint

I’ve always used 20% to match my F150’s. Matches good with the factory back. I also have every windshield in my household tinted with 50%. It’s a game changer. I hate riding in a car without windshield tint. FYI, 50% is almost clear, I know some that use 70, or absolute clear, but I have zero...
  18. Power Running Boards

I’ve had both, and liked both for different reasons. I think the power ones are really useful on a lifted truck as they drop lower. I like static ones just because I live in the door-ding capital of the world, and I think they help in that respect.
  19. Interior work surface - Retrofit install later ?

I’ll bet $50, it’s just a console lid swap. There isn’t any magic hidden hinges or a completely different console for the fold out lid. Wait a few months and pick one up on eBay.
  20. Katzkin Leather installed in 2021 F-150 (photos)

Looks great. I put katskinz in my 2014 Tremor because I wasn't a fan of the suede or the red piping. Several years later, they still look new.
