  1. Aftermarket NACS Adapters - best recommendations?

There was a cut-off in 2024 for getting a free Tesla adapter. Some people still haven't received theirs. If you really need one, buy one.
  2. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

I just did it. Worked like a champ for my 2023 and extended me to 2027. I suspect that Ford is doing this to get 3 year trial folks configured up for an annual renewal. A free year following the trial is a heck of a carrot to do so. Now 4 years of Blue Cruise. ?
  3. Check your Ford Lectron Adapter! {Solution Post 28}

You should destroy that original adapter and provide A2Z with proof, because it helps their insurance.
  4. Betrayed [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS; MEMBERS WARNED/BANNED]

When I bought my F150 Lightning in 2023, Tesla Supercharger access wasn't even on the radar. I can tell you as someone who has done over 75k miles of EV roadtripping that the charging situation has improved dramatically over the past 3+ years. In this time, Electrify America stepped up their...
  5. Announcing: Expanded Charge Settings – Take Control of Your Charge

Hey @Ford Motor Company, does this update have anything to do with my app no longer being able to provide a charging estimate for my 2023 Lariat ER? It was working fine a couple of days ago.
  6. Will you renew BlueCruise?

I've got my 3 free years with my 2023 Lariat ER and coming up to 1 year left. I am planning to re-up at the end of the free period. I do a lot of long distance driving that makes it worthwhile. That said, if Ford is listening, I would really like to see the BC 1.4 update soon. ?
  7. IF you could do it all over... what would you buy?

I put a few thousand miles on an 2023 ICE F150 XLT before getting my Lightning. That 2023 XLT was a thirsty truck. You make an important point. The cost of DC fast charging is quite a bit higher than it used to be. In 2022, my EV charging costs were about 20% of gas, especially charging in...
  8. IF you could do it all over... what would you buy?

I wouldn't change a thing. I certainly don't have any Cybertruck envy, because that Tesla is a steaming pile of garbage with the kind of freefall depreciation that makes a Lightning look like a 401k. The Lightning literally does everything better. I don't know how old your son is, but in our...
  9. Tesla superchargers

If you activate the charger through the Tesla app first, it will use your membership. Plug-n-charge will still work, ie. You don't have to disable it. If you just plug in, you won't get the special member pricing. The same is true for EA and other networks.
  10. Job 2 Order Guide and changes

True, but that duality of its architecture is not an easy retrofit.
  11. Job 2 Order Guide and changes

Dynamically, the Silverado sucks to drive compared to the Lightning and consistently loses to the Ford in reviews. The Chevy is just too heavy You’re not going to see 350kw charging with a 400V electrical system. Truth be told, the Lightning’s charging curve isn’t bad at all for a 400V EV...
  12. Job 2 Order Guide and changes

With all of the nip and tuck on standard features, I have no regrets with my early 23, pre price cut, Lariat ER.
  13. Anyone else still w/o BC 1.4?

I am totally fine with the staged rollouts. Stability is more important to me when it comes to a car, truck, or motorcycle. I don't want to be a Beta tester -- I want everything to just work. I don't think that the Tesla model of constantly breaking/updating things is a good one for something...
  14. Anyone else still w/o BC 1.4?

No need for FOMO. I haven’t gotten yet for my 2023 Lariat ER. I consistently get the updates a couple months later than the early crew. My last update was the improved connectivity update back in October.
  15. Front plates not installed

Proud to live in real America that doesn’t require front plates.
  16. DIY MagSafe iPhone Charger Setup

32k miles in 20 months and no issues with Ford’s wireless charger.
  17. Ownership Experience - 2023 Lightning Extended Range (LER) to 2024 Sierra EV Denali (SEV)

I don't know how the engineers working at other truck manufacturers have the strength/will to get out of bed every morning to compete with F-series trucks. I've put thousands of miles on Silverados and Ram trucks. When it comes to my own money, it's always Ford. They just nail the details that...
  18. Bluecruise 1.4 officially being sent out to F150 & Lightnings starting today (12/11/24)!

With a 23 Lariat ER, now I wait. Given that I have about 3000 miles of roadtripping on deck in January, looking forward forward to BC 1.4 arriving before then.
  19. Aftermarket NACS Adapters - best recommendations?

The adapter produced by Tesla is so janky that I wouldn't pay actual cash money for it. As a FREE adapter, sure, fine, but it's not well made and feels like Tesla squeezed every last penny of margin out of it. Heck, it doesn't even come with a protective case.
